Judicial Bureau.

The vehicle arrived. The door opened, and the first thing to erge was a pair of long, slender legs clad in high heels.

Next ca the coldly beautiful An Nishang, stepping slowly out of the car.

The face that could topple empires, enchant every living soul, now showed none of the seductive allure it held when kneeling before a man.

Only a coldness that kept people thousands of miles away, an aura radiating from her that made most of the Judicial Bureau’s staff unable to look Director An in the eye.

Yet that face was still breathtaking—like a blossom drenched all night, blooming stunningly at dawn.

An Nishang led her people toward the prison block, running into Bode along the way.

The burly black man’s modified prosthetic arm was still stained with blood and bits of flesh. Bode’s n were escorting a group of old prisoners, likewise heading for the prison.

The two sides only exchanged a glance—no words passed between them.

An Nishang and Bode were enemies within the Judicial Bureau.

One of the captains, Angduo, approached behind An Nishang and whispered, "Bode personally led a raid on an Apocalypse Society stronghold and captured a Missionary. Director, it looks like they’ve made so serious progress..."

The organization of the Apocalypse Society: Missionaries were one of the leaders.

They managed a group of the Society’s believers.

An Nishang’s eyes flickered—nobody knew what she was thinking—as she spoke calmly, "No rush. I have my own plans."

They continued all the way to the prison dungeon.

The door opened, revealing Kainan, who hadn’t slept all night.

Upon seeing An Nishang, Kainan made a gesture of loyalty and imdiately said, "Director, her mouth is tough. We’ve just undone her demonization."

A Banshee in the third stage of the Banshee Calamity—Beguiled Banshee—besides her beguilent abilities, after demonization her body beca extrely strong, pain almost nonexistent.

So, for torture, one had to forcibly end the Banshee Calamity’s demonization.

This process required drugs, combined with surgery to sever certain nerves in the body.

It was a long, drawn-out process.

But if the demonization wasn’t ended, it was nearly impossible to torture Natasha into talking.

After all, with pain dulled, no instrunt could truly threaten a Beguiled Banshee.

This was also why An Nishang hadn’t co to interrogate Natasha right away.

Plus, the fact was, she was itching for sex—she only wanted Chen Che’s big muscles.

So, she’d thrown these matters to her subordinates.

The mont she heard the demonization had been reversed, An Nishang arrived imdiately.

She entered the cell.

A naked figure was bound to a cross.

In TV dramas, prisoners are rarely left clothed.

Most of the ti, no matter the gender, they’re stripped naked and tied up for the torture to co.

After all, sotis the prisoner can’t die right away, and if you torture them clothed, the fabric gets caught in the torn flesh, which is hell for the dics trying to patch them up later.

With the demonization forcibly reversed, the pain twisted Natasha’s face. At the sound of high heels clicking against the floor, she looked up and saw An Nishang. Terror filled her pupils.

An Nishang spoke coldly: "Tell what I want to know."

Natasha’s lips trembled in fear, but she kept them tightly shut.

Natasha knew how important she was to the Tasting Comrce Association. As long as she kept her mouth shut, she didn’t believe the Association would abandon the results of Pandora’s Kiss and leave her behind!

Seeing Natasha like this, An Nishang didn’t bother with more words. Flas blossod at her fingertip—the Purgatory Mandala—and she slowly approached Natasha, pressing it to her forehead.

Natasha had thought she could at least resist for a while—pain was better than death.

But as that Purgatory Mandala blood on her, pain like her very marrow being torn apart drove Natasha into utter agony—the entire cell echoed with chilling screams.

"Ahhhhhh!!!"

"I’ll talk... I’ll talk!!!"

In under three minutes of this unending tornt, Natasha felt as if she’d been tortured for three years.

The ntal defenses she’d built, her so-called resolve, collapsed in an instant.

An Nishang just snapped her fingers; Natasha’s pain stopped.

Wearing gloves, An Nishang grabbed Natasha’s head and said coldly, "Speak. If I’m satisfied, as a Beguiled Banshee who can’t live without n, I’ll let you die on top of a man.

That’s the most perfect death for a Beguiled Banshee. You know that."

Natasha’s lips trembled. At that kind of death, she seed almost longing—she could no longer endure the pain. She stamred out: "I-it’s... the Comrce Association..."

"I... I don’t know much... What you want... seems to be outside the city... Aaaahhh!!!"

Right as she was about to spill the key information, agony ripped through Natasha again—An Nishang’s pupils shrank sharply as she leaped back.

Natasha’s whole body began to swell grotesquely, ballooning up like she was being filled with air. Her skin, unable to withstand the pressure, suddenly split apart.

In just a few seconds, Natasha exploded, her whole body ruptured and blown apart as if packed with erupting gas!

An Nishang reacted lightning-fast—retreating from the interrogation room and slamming the door shut.

Blood and flesh sprayed across the whole room; not even a bone was left behind.

The bloodstains still on the cross were all that showed there’d been a living person monts before.

The splattered blood began to smoke black, twisting upward, and then started to burn.

Flas erupted throughout the room. When the fire finally died, what was left was only the stench of scorched flesh and blackened walls—no other trace remained.

An Nishang opened the door again; Angduo and Kainan rushed in behind her.

After a grim investigation, Angduo turned to An Nishang and said, "Director, it was... a curse killing!

This kind of magic—only a Sacrificial Witch in the third stage of the Witchcraft Calamity can pull it off... Shit, the Tasting Comrce Association must have gotten so of Natasha’s blood, hair, sothing like that ahead of ti.

That’s the only way they could use it as a dium for a curse killing like this."

"News also ca from Yang Jifu’s side—the Tasting Comrce Association has been pulling strings all over the place, clearly trying to break Natasha out.

Looks like they knew they’d never get her out alive, plus they’d calculated how long Natasha could stay demonized.

They knew once the demonization ended, Natasha wouldn’t be able to keep the secret... so they silenced her."

"Director—the trail’s dead. What do we do now...?"

Staring at the blood stains all over the floor, An Nishang’s face was blank. Inside, though... she was seething, desperate for relief.

But after only a mont’s thought, An Nishang said calmly, "We don’t have ti to chase down a second lead. If they don’t want to investigate, then I won’t. Round up our people, drop that shipnt, and focus on the Apocalypse Society."

An Nishang wasn’t one to obsess over dead ends—she’d always find the most fitting path.

Kainan muttered darkly, "Fuck! Director, we’re just gonna swallow this? That was twenty million worth of weapons—that shipnt was crucial to you... fuck!"

"You think I, An Nishang, would just get ripped off?" A dangerous glint flashed in her eyes. "Screw it. Mutual destruction, then."

An Nishang calmly gave an order.

Angduo and Kainan exchanged glances, feral grins spreading across their faces.

No wonder she was their Director—even hurt herself, she’d make damn sure to tear a big chunk of flesh off her enemies!
