Seeing Yu Xin's excitent, Li Chen couldn't bear to refuse. He waved his hand and motioned the stall owner to bring over two bottles of beer.
After opening them, he poured a cup for each of them.
"Is this your first ti drinking beer?" Li Chen asked in astonishnt when he saw Yu Xin's cautious sipping.
"Hehe, yes! My parents are super strict, they never let touch this stuff."
Yu Xin's face was radiant with a brilliant smile, like a bird freed from its cage, having arrived in a vast new world where she could finally fly and breathe freely.
Then, following Li Chen's lead, she took big gulps of her drink.
Looking at that brilliant smiling face, Li Chen felt a wave of emotion.
Indeed.
For a daughter of a wealthy family like her, who rides in multimillion-dollar vehicles, how could she be like ordinary people?
Eating at a street food stall was probably her first ti too.
"It's not good to drink on an empty stomach. Eat sothing first."
After taking a big swig, Li Chen picked up a kebab from the table and handed it to her.
Yu Xin chuckled.
With her left hand holding her beer cup and her right arm resting on the table, her palm supporting her chin, she gazed straight at Li Chen. Her red lips parted slightly, revealing a smooth little tongue.
"I want you to feed !" she said with a laugh.
Li Chen was taken aback for a mont.
Looking at that enchanting face, a fire ignited within him.
He carefully extended the skewered at towards Yu Xin's mouth.
Although it wasn't his first ti feeding a woman, he was still a bit nervous, his hand trembling slightly.
This woman was obviously flirting on purpose!
Yu Xin kept her gaze fixed on Li Chen as she bit into the golden-roasted at, chewing with evident pleasure.
A few drops of oil glistened on her red lips, and as she pursed them, the temptation was overwhelming.
Li Chen felt an urge to lean in for a kiss.
Despite being in public, he couldn't help himself anymore.
He took a couple of napkins from the table and handed them to her, suggesting she wipe her mouth.
Yu Xin didn't take the napkins but puckered her lips instead.
Seeing Li Chen still hesitating, she pouted and said, "Dummy, I can't see it, you wipe it for ."
As she spoke, her beautiful eyes flickered at Li Chen, full of indescribable charm.
Li Chen's heart burned even hotter.
A surge of desire raced straight to his head, and he was on the verge of losing control.
Picking up a napkin, he gently wiped the grease from the corner of her lips.
Even through the napkin, he could feel the softness of her lips, and uncontrollably, his fingers gently pinched them.
The smile on Yu Xin's face grew even brighter as she picked up her beer cup and took several more generous swigs.
After setting down the cup, she lowered her head and fell into a brief silence.
The smile on her face vanished.
In its place, a sense of loneliness enveloped those beautiful cheeks.
Li Chen sat across from her, a little confused.
He struggled to keep up with her rcurial thoughts.
"Li Chen, I really like this feeling, being free and unbound, it's so comfortable..."
After a while, Yu Xin raised her head, squeezing out a smile.
But to anyone looking, that smile seed tinged with lancholy.
Touched, Li Chen spoke softly, "Then stay for a few more days. We can go out often, I can accompany you wherever you want to go."
Yu Xin shook her head with a smile.
She fell silent for a mont, then began to speak slowly.
After listening for a bit, Li Chen realized she was talking about her own experiences.
Yu Xin's father, Yu Linsheng, was a poor boy in his earlier years.
He went to Kyoto when he was young and, through his perseverance, willingness to fight, and seizing the opportunities of the era, built his own business empire.
Because he was so focused on his business, Yu Linsheng married late.
By the ti Yu Xin was born, Yu Linsheng had already beco an imnse tycoon in the Kyoto business world, a figure with status and respect.
Hence, Yu Xin was born with a halo, blessed with adoration from thousands.
Yu Xin's mother, who was Yu Linsheng's wife, ca from a family of high-ranking officials and was a highly educated woman, known for her assertive personality.
Due to the influence of family wealth and her mother's upbringing, Yu Xin was different from other children from a young age.
She was well-behaved and understanding, with outstanding academic results.
The Yu family's ho education was incredibly strict.
This resulted in Yu Xin being extrely well-mannered from a very young age.
She was the girl who always excelled in school, coming first in exams, and spent her winter and sumr vacations relentlessly learning various skills instead of playing with friends.
Her excellence was the envy of others, but it also robbed her of a childhood.
All because she was the only child of Yu Linsheng and his wife, upon whom great expectations were pinned from birth.
Every step of her life was nearly orchestrated by her mother's planning.
From schooling to joining the company after graduation.
Even including who to interact with, and what kind of partner to look for in the future.
Every step was organized.
She was the pride of her parents, a successful masterpiece, and the heir to a conglorate worth tens of billions. She appeared almost flawless, with impeccable looks, family background, and abilities.
But all that was just the surface.
She was a living, breathing person, not a marionette.
Gentle and refined was just the facade she had cultured; her true temperant was always suppressed.
It was only in front of Li Chen that she revealed her quirky spirit and intense curiosity.
"Do you know, the first ti you hugged , I was stunned; I've never encountered soone as bold as you."
"With you, I feel so relaxed, no need to pretend, just being my true self."
"I know I shouldn't feel this way, but I can't control it; I want to see you, to be with you."
Yu Xin picked up her glass and guzzled down several more swigs of beer, her eyes burning as she gazed at Li Chen.
The affection in her eyes was undisguised.
Li Chen sighed quietly to himself.
He couldn't help but feel sympathy.
This was an outstanding product of a stringent upbringing, yet no one had ever cared about what she truly wanted, what she enjoyed.
Even just sitting at a roadside stall, eating barbeque and drinking beer, was a novel experience for her.
No wonder she behaved the way she did today; perhaps she had never even dared to contemplate such actions before.
She was passionately venting, being the person she always wanted to be but never dared to.
Before they knew it, two bottles of beer were empty.
"Li Chen, I want more to drink, stay with !"
"Alright!"
Li Chen gestured with a wave of his hand, and the vendor brought over two more bottles.
Now that the conversation had started, Yu Xin felt even more comfortable and relaxed.
Her giggles echoed under the night sky, unceasingly.
Genuine, unforced.
Her whimsical charm was even more enticing, setting Li Chen's heart racing.
After eating their fill, Yu Xin showed no signs of wanting to return.
Li Chen continued to accompany her on a stroll along the riverside.
"Ah!"
Yu Xin yelled at the top of her lungs towards the river, letting herself go.
Flushed from the alcohol, her face was ruddy, making her even more ecstatic.
The next mont.
She spun around, her arms wrapping around Li Chen's neck, and kissed him.
Li Chen was slightly taken aback.
The rebound from extre repression can be quite terrifying.
