Leo ended up guiding all Alraunes to the void tree. He cut open a dinsion crack and used it to teleport everybody to the Void Tree.
When Leo arrived, Simba and his dragonewts already started extracting void leaves and fate crystals. However, their performance was questionable.
The void tree constantly regenerated and multiplied its body parts, troubling the extraction team. The more they cut, the more leaves and fate crystals appeared.
The dragonewts grumbled while they chopped the tree branches and transported them back to their cargo ship. No one bothered stealing a leaf or a fate crystal.
Everybody tried consuming a fate crystal or two. However, the fate crystals rejected them and left their souls.
Simba had a headache. He also tried storing the fate crystals in his soul, but his soul rejected raw fate crystals from the tree. Without a choice, he wasted his precious inventory system slots, storing the leaves and fate crystals to bring them ho.
Leo arrived and checked Simba's progress. When he noticed how Simba used his system inventory instead, he got curious.
"Simba. Why don't you take in so fate crystals? If you consu so, you can gain a new system power."
Simba sighed, "Don't you think I tried?"
"You did?" Leo was surprised.
"How about you try it yourself and see what's going on?"

Curious, Leo plucked a moon-sized entity fate crystal from the void tree and tried to absorb it. Instantly, it was ejected from his body, and a system ssage told him the reason.
