How the hell…?
He had already known about his affinities with the four basic common elents.
But Dark? And its advanced forms?
Among the four basic elents, he discovered he had High Affinity with Water, which ca as a surprise. After all, most of his recent training had been in volcanic terrain, seemingly tied to fire.
However, elental affinity wasn't strictly based on one's environnt—it was often rooted in innate traits. Perhaps his natural inclination toward Water had always been there.
Then there was the High Affinity with Dark, a special elent. There was no doubt in his mind that this had been influenced by Morganna.
But even more shocking was the inclusion of Shadow, the advanced form of Dark. Not only did he have access to it, but he also had High Affinity with it.
Finally, there was Blood, another advanced elent clearly stemming from Morganna's influence. While his affinity here was only Low, it still marked a significant milestone—he had already secured two advanced elents.
According to what he knew, even a single advanced elent, like Blood, could be ford through the fusion of multiple elents. For instance, it could be a combination of Water Dark or Water Earth, depending on how the user focused on utilizing and manipulating the elents.
There was so much he still needed to learn. But at the very least, he had opened more doors to mastering a broader range of abilities.
Take everything step by step. Slowly but surely.
Now, he was curious. He wanted to test how his affinity for these elents would enhance his fighting style.
Atlas stepped outside, squinting slightly as the sunlight hit his eyes. He took a mont to survey his island, now fully green with grass and blooming flowers spreading in every direction. Mira and the workers were busy tending to various tasks, while the golems moved about, hauling rocks and wood to designated areas.
It struck him how unfortunate it would be if an attack damaged the beauty of this thriving place.
"Hi, My Lord!" Mira called out from afar.
She ran up to him with a bright smile, stopping in front of him with a mix of excitent and innocence.
"My Lord, are you feeling better?"
"Yes," Atlas replied, holding up his arms. "See? I'm full of vitality!"
It was only then that he realized he was still only wearing a pair of shorts.
Mira giggled. "Those are so impressive muscles, My Lord."
Embarrassed, Atlas quickly applied an outfit from the system, his new clothes materializing instantly.
"Are the others out training?"
"Yes," Mira said with a nod before tilting her head slightly. "Do you need my assistance with anything, My Lord?"
"No, I'm fine, Mira," he said, smiling warmly. "I just want to train for a bit myself."
"Alright~" she replied with a playful tone.
Atlas made his way to a small hill, a peaceful area with an iron bench beneath the shade of a tree. Nearby, there were tables and chairs for relaxing, but the space was also large enough for training.
He took out his spear, Fang of Infernos, holding it firmly.
Faintly, his eyes caught sight of the subtle elental particles emanating from the weapon. The spear, inherently imbued with fire, leaned toward aggressive, fiery attacks.
But what if he applied water to it?
With his High Affinity for Water, Atlas focused his energy. Gradually, the water elental particles in the surrounding air beca visible, clearer and more distinct as they responded to his will.
He steadied his breathing, and soon the particles began to envelop him, cascading around his body like a flowing current.
They wrapped around him—and then, the spear.
Holding his spear with renewed energy, he began to spin it, thrust it forward, strike, sweep, leap, and slash.
His movents were fluid, continuous, and precise, the influence of the water elent enhancing his agility and spearwork.
The strikes felt smoother, faster, and more dynamic, as though the weapon itself danced with him.
With a stronger strike, Atlas focused more power into the spear. This ti, a visible trail of water followed the weapon's movents, and when it struck the ground, the impact created a splash of water that scattered in all directions.

Eager to push further, Atlas attacked again, this ti putting even more force into his strikes. The spear thrusted with incredible speed, and as it moved, faint steam began to rise from the weapon's tip, spreading outward in waves.
The Steam Elent had ford—a combination of Water and Fire.
Atlas grinned, spinning the spear and launching a series of attacks. The steam swirled with each motion, creating an effect that was srizing.
The new talent he had unlocked allowed him to infuse elents into his attacks and cloak himself with an elental shield.
Focusing for a mont, Atlas activated the shield. A faint aura of elental energy enveloped his body, shimring softly with his chosen affinity.
He smiled faintly, knowing this was just the surface of the potential this ability held. He was well aware of how far high-level Awakeners could go in utilizing elents in combat.
Now, with his diverse elental affinities, he had the potential to explore a wide array of skills tailored to various elents. He could aim to master techniques like Shadow Mirage, creating duplicates of himself just as Kurogasa did, or hone stealth abilities and other advanced covert techniques.
Hell, he might even learn how to fly soday—why not?
Just thinking about the possibilities was thrilling.
Atlas had less than 48 hours before facing his final challenger. After that, he could either take so ti to fallback and train further or use his last remaining Attack Token to push ahead.
But his priority was clear—he needed to reach level 50 first and secure his Advanced Class before advancing to Rank-2 Scout.
As night fell, the troops returned from their training with energized expressions. This was a stark contrast to how they used to drag themselves back, utterly exhausted. Their rigorous sessions at Flare Peak were paying off, and many of them were slowly leveling up.
The next step involved helping more of them unlock their Elental Affinities. So had already achieved this during training, their bodies instinctively adapting to the intense elental environnt.
Baldric, the massive dwarf blacksmith, had been hard at work crafting armor for nearly everyone. From heavy plate to lighter, more agile designs, all the troops were now equipped with better protection.
For weapons, the troops had ard themselves with gear earned through their hunts at Flare Peak.
Gacha Haven and its troops were improving steadily.
That night, as usual, they gathered for dinner, laughter, and entertainnt, their spirits high. anwhile, Atlas found himself mulling over his 50 Standard Tickets, which ca with a guaranteed Rank-S pull if he used them all.
What if I do another 30-pull before the battle in two days?
It might just give him another crucial edge before the fight.
