The two figures clashed as they reappeared, weapons colliding before both of them were thrown backward at the sa ti. It happened so fast that neither was given a chance to follow up with another strike.
"Master Kurogasa, please respect as second in command while the lord is unavailable. We cannot waste ti," Edrik said firmly.
"The lord never delegated you to die," Kurogasa replied coldly. "If this is your personal decision, then no one has the right to stop from doing the sa."
Shadow chains burst forth again, shooting toward Edrik at high speed, trying to bind him. Edrik leaped and flipped through the air, the chain blade missing him completely.
"I can redirect the attacks aid at into my dinsional space," Edrik said calmly. "I am the most suitable one for this task."
Kurogasa appeared in front of Edrik in an instant and struck again, but Edrik blocked with his dagger in his left hand.
"If you can endure the attacks, then why is your right arm badly injured?"
They continued to clash, trading attacks while trying to disable one another. Both of them knew this fight would lead nowhere unless one of them truly committed to striking with full intent.
The sound of clashing weapons rang out violently when a sudden surge of shadow tore through the space between them. It happened in a blink, right as Edrik and Kurogasa were trying to restrain one another.
A massive figure, far larger than both of them, burst into the space between them at terrifying speed. Two enormous hands shot out and grabbed their heads at the sa ti.
"You useless idiots, weak and wasting ti," the figure snarled brutally. "Get the hell out of here. I will shatter that damn domain by myself."
Raze appeared before them, his body clearly cloaked in dense shadow. Without hesitation, he slamd Edrik and Kurogasa into each other with overwhelming force. A heavy impact echoed, but both of them managed to brace and block the blow with their arms.
Raze imdiately leapt away, but his movent halted abruptly when dozens of shadow chains burst from the ground and wrapped around his body, locking him in place.
Edrik sprinted forward to follow up, but suddenly stopped and ducked sharply. A massive burst of fire erupted around him as a figure in dark red armor appeared, flas roaring in his wake. His hair burned like fire itself, and a massive greatsword rested in his hands.
"Since when did you beco soone who can give orders in Gacha Haven, Edrik!" Karian shouted. "Step aside and let handle this."
Karian swung his greatsword repeatedly at Edrik, but Edrik evaded each strike with precise and clean movents.
In that sa instant, Raze suddenly appeared beside Karian and drove a brutal punch into him.
"Damn it!" Karian cursed in shock as he blocked with his greatsword.
A thunderous impact followed. Karian was sent flying, his body thrown wildly across the ground.
The shadow chains were still wrapped tightly around Raze’s body, even as he carried out the attack.
Edrik completely lost his composure, his face clearly showing deep frustration. He dashed past Raze again, but Raze reacted instantly, grabbing Edrik by the leg and slamming him hard into the ground.
"Damn it, Raze! Listen to !" Edrik tried to shout, but he did not get the chance to finish. His body was smashed into the ground again and again, repeatedly, until he finally vanished from Raze’s grip.
In that sa mont, another figure shot past them at high speed.
A smaller figure compared to the others, with glowing red eyes and a pair of white rabbit ears. The anger on the bunny girl’s face was unmistakable.
"No one is allowed to hurt Lord Atlas!"
Before she could move further, shadow chains burst from the ground and wrapped tightly around Mira, slamming her into the earth.
Kurogasa moved imdiately, trying to intervene, only for his body to be thrown back once more as a massive wave of fire surged between them.
A man wearing a white chef’s outfit appeared, his hair shaped like writhing octopus tentacles.
Orren, the master chef of Gacha Haven, charged straight through the battlefield.
"My role is the easiest to replace. Let do this," Orren said as he ran forward at full speed.
The others chased after him imdiately. None of them were willing to let soone else take this burden alone.
The domain was already very close, yet no one was truly listening to anyone anymore in this situation.
"Kneel. Obey."
In the next instant, everyone froze. Their bodies were slamd violently into the ground, hitting it hard as if crushed by an invisible weight.
Then a figure cloaked in crimson aura and shadow appeared among them.
Morganna.
Her black hair flowed quietly, and a scythe rested firmly in her grasp as she stood there.
All of them were pinned to the ground, unable to move. This was Morganna’s ability, one that rendered its targets completely immobile. In truth, the effect could be canceled if they were struck by even the smallest attack from soone else. But here, with only them present, there was no one who could break it.
Morganna walked past them slowly.
"I need his blood," she said. "I need him to make sure my daughter grows properly. Only I can handle this ridiculous system trick."
"Morganna!" Edrik shouted. "You do not understand how important your position on this island is. You are needed more than anyone else. Vienne needs you. Lord Atlas needs you."
"Shut," Morganna said sharply. "Up."
Her body blurred and shot forward at terrifying speed.
In their current state, there was no one who could stop her.
Morganna moved at full speed and was just about to break into the domain. The others could only watch, unable to move, unable to stop her.
Then, suddenly, Morganna froze.
Her body stiffened mid step.
Everyone’s eyes widened in shock as they saw what was happening.
Morganna’s expression shifted into confusion. She looked down at her own body, and in that mont, she saw sothing erging from her skin.
A small plant sprouts.
The crimson shadow around Morganna flickered.
"...What?" Morganna muttered.
