Julian Lancaster held Nina Sinclair’s head, kissing her deeply, as if he wanted to make up for the intimacy that had been missing over ti. His kisses were passionate and domineering.

The room was so quiet you could hear a pin drop, with only the sounds of their urgent breathing and entwining lips and tongues.

The temperature between them gradually began to rise.

Nina Sinclair’s mind had long since begun to go numb, only able to follow Julian Lancaster’s lead.

After a mont, Julian released Nina, looking at her with dark, heated eyes, then reached out, gathered her up in his arms, and headed towards the room.

Initially, Julian had intended to wait.

But faced with Nina, he couldn’t hold back, only wanting to be close to her, to have her beco a part of him.

...

Late at night.

Nina lay dazed on the bed, burying her face in the pillow.

Just now... she and Julian...

Sohow, kissing Julian had led them to the bed, and everything that followed seed inevitable.

They rolled around the sheets several tis, and there wasn’t any protection.

Nina wanted to slap herself hard, hadn’t they already agreed to separate from Julian?

But now they were still involved like this, what did this an?

The sound of the shower running gently penetrated from the bathroom. Julian was showering inside, while Nina had a sudden urge to run away, but since they lived across from each other, they had to face this issue sooner or later.

She took a deep breath, planning to have a good talk with Julian when he ca out.

Ten minutes later, the bathroom door opened, and Julian walked out enveloped in steam, shirtless with only a towel wrapped around his waist, a few water droplets trailing down his firm abs into the towel.

With Julian living across the hall, there were no clothes for him at Nina’s, so he had no choice but to co out this way.

Nina turned red upon witnessing such a beautiful sight.

Julian had a great body, and while they had just shared the most intimate act, she still couldn’t bring herself to look directly, maintaining the shyness that should exist between a man and a woman.

He walked over to Nina, lay down beside her, and said in a gentle tone, "Do you want to carry you for a bath?"

"No need," Nina quickly refused.

She felt that they should not be behaving this way.

Nina hesitated for a mont, carefully choosing her words before speaking, "Julian, we already decided to part ways, we shouldn’t be doing this."

Julian curled his lips into a light smile and said, "I just kissed you, and you didn’t refuse."

Nina, hearing this, lightly bit her lip.

Despite what she said, her heart yearned for intimate contact with Julian.

So when he kissed her, she couldn’t help but not push him away, which led to the current situation.

Her eyes stung with emotion; she still had feelings for Julian but had to guard her heart tightly so as not to let anything slip out.

Not wanting just one encounter to let her defenses crumble.

Seeing Nina speechless, Julian’s mood brightened even more.

He knew that Nina still loved him, but too many barriers forced her to give him up.

"Nina," Julian looked at Nina seriously, kissing her on the cheek, he then said, "let’s stop torturing each other, let’s reconcile, shall we?"

Nina’s pupils contracted slightly, and her hand gripped the blanket tightly.

She lowered her eyes slightly and didn’t speak for a long ti.
