Nina Sinclair and Millie Langley arrived at H Investnts, a company located in the bustling comrcial district of Crestfall, very close to both the Sinclair Group and Lancaster Group.

Just as they passed the Lancaster Group building, Nina couldn’t help but glance up at the towering structure, her thoughts filled with Julian Lancaster’s ousting from the Lancaster Family.

After Millie had shared information about H Investnts last ti, Nina had been diligently researching the preferences of H Investnts’ head, hoping to seize this opportunity for success.

It was said that the head of H Investnts was nad Lennox, a wealthy heir with more money than anything else.

However, his business acun was lacking, so he invested in companies that seed promising for the future, aiming to profit and share dividends later.

Mr. Lennox might lack business skills, but his investnt insight had always been good.

The companies he invested in were quite successful, making H Investnts one of the larger investnt firms in Crestfall.

"Hello, I am Nina Sinclair, the manager from Elysian Design under Sinclair Group, and I have an appointnt with President Lennox." Nina identified herself upon arriving at the reception desk.

"Sure, please follow . President Lennox has scheduled etings with quite a few companies today, so you may need to wait a bit."

Nina had no objections. She and Millie followed the receptionist to the eting room.

On the way, Millie quietly asked, "Manager Sinclair, why did President Lennox invite others too? Wasn’t he just eting with us?"

Nina’s eyes darkened slightly, "The one with the money calls the shots; we just have to do our best to gain President Lennox’s approval."

Inside the eting room, a few people were already seated. When Nina entered, several people raised their eyes to look at her. Nina didn’t recognize them and saw no need to greet them—what if they were competitors?

She sat down expressionless and patiently waited for President Lennox’s eting.

At that mont, the eting room door opened again, and the receptionist who had brought Nina in walked in with two more people: Ruby Sinclair and her assistant, Julia Lane.

Millie’s eyes widened in shock upon seeing them.

What was going on? Why was Ruby here? Were they also here to see President Lennox?

"Manager Sinclair, why did they co?" Millie leaned close to Nina’s ear and whispered.

Nina looked over at Ruby without showing any emotion. Ruby seed aware of Nina’s gaze and responded with a smug smile, making a gesture that signaled Nina’s failure compared to her.

Upon learning that Nina had sought out H Investnts, Ruby imdiately pulled so strings to co here as well, intending to thwart Nina’s investnt efforts at all costs.

Nina’s expression tightened as she refocused her attention.

Since Ruby was here, she would surely target her. Overthinking was useless; she could only take things one step at a ti and tackle challenges as they ca.

"Alright, we don’t need to bother with her," Nina reassured Millie.

Though Nina didn’t let it get to her, Millie was still a bit uneasy.

Hopefully, everything would go smoothly later on.

If they couldn’t secure an investor this ti, their launch event might not happen, leaving them perpetually overshadowed by Ruby at Sinclair Group, with no achievents to show.

At this point, Ruby’s assistant, Julia Lane, whispered to Ruby, "Manager Sinclair, I’ve arranged everything. Later, Nina Sinclair will definitely leave in embarrassnt!"
