The next day, after Julian Lancaster left for work, a drowsy Nina Sinclair was awakened by the sound of the doorbell, and she climbed out of bed with difficulty.

She had just opened the door when she saw two young n in uniform standing outside, waving a piece of paper in front of her.
"Nina Sinclair, you are suspected of intentional injury. We are here to arrest you."

After a brief mont of panic, Nina quickly cald down; she wouldn’t resist as it was pointless.
Glancing at her short-sleeved pajamas, Nina said calmly, "Wait a mont, let grab a coat."
"Please cooperate with our work!"
Nina sighed and had no choice but to obediently follow them out.

In the empty room, there was only a solitary chair, and Nina Sinclair was sitting on it. They hadn’t confiscated her phone, which was sowhat of a privilege.
At this mont, she was calling Ethan Sherman for help.
The phone rang twice before it was quickly answered.
Before Ethan could speak, Nina spoke first, "Ethan, I’ve been arrested, co bail out quickly. Also, did you arrange the lawyer I asked you to?"
"I can’t make it over..." Ethan’s voice carried an unprecedented helplessness.
"Why?"
Ethan’s tone was low, "My car broke down."
Nina frowned, saying, "How can all your cars be broken? Can’t you use another form of transportation? A taxi would work too."
Ethan sighed heavily, sounding even more helpless, and laughed bitterly, "I wish I could, but I would need the opportunity first."
Nina: "..."
Alright, Ethan probably wasn’t doing it on purpose, maybe sothing recently delayed the Sherman Family, preventing Ethan from coming, but sending the lawyer over would suffice.
She took a deep breath, restraining her impatience, "Then have the lawyer co first, co when you can, or you don’t have to co at all."
Ethan: "There’s no lawyer..."
Before he finished speaking, Nina realized the gravity of the situation.
