Lynn Yates has always refused, and two months ago at her father Charles Yates’ 65th birthday, the entire Grant Family attended. During the banquet, the matter of the two families’ marriage was ntioned, and Lynn Yates flipped the table."

Evelyn was shocked upon hearing this, hesitantly said, "Did she really flip the table?"

Iris quickly replied, "No, no, that’s just an exaggerated taphor. Lynn Yates made it clear at the table that she wouldn’t marry anyone from the Grant Family except Jas Grant."
