Upon finishing, Yara Reagan’s expression also beca solemn.
"No... How did she know?" Yara Reagan thought carefully and just felt her hair standing on end, "She wouldn’t be surveilling you, would she?"
Evelyn Clayton shook her head, "I don’t know. If Yvette Warren wants to send soone to track , even Shane Sinclair might not be able to notice."
Yara Reagan swallowed, her nervousness evident, "What else did she say?"
"She asked to et ." Evelyn Clayton showed the address to Yara Reagan, "The day after tomorrow."
"Are you going to go then?"
Evelyn Clayton fell into contemplation.
She doesn’t know either.
Yara Reagan beca a bit anxious, "Maybe tell Shane Sinclair? Or ask Aunt Yvonne?"
"Even if Shane Sinclair knew, he wouldn’t be able to do anything, Yvette Warren is his elder; could he really interfere in an elder’s matters?" Evelyn Clayton sighed lightly, "And absolutely not Mom, they’re still unaware of Sharon’s injury now."
"What should we do then?"
Evelyn Clayton’s eyes flickered, "I’ll go there the day after tomorrow."
Yara Reagan was about to say sothing but was interrupted by Evelyn Clayton, "You mustn’t tell Shane Sinclair, wait until I’ve t with Yvette Warren."
The next day, Sharon woke up.
When Evelyn Clayton arrived at the hospital in the morning and entered the ward, she saw Sharon leaning against the headboard, with a nurse feeding her.
Seeing Evelyn Clayton arrive, Sharon smiled sweetly.
Her voice was still weak, and her face pale, but she still seed quite spirited, "Mommy!"
"Sweetheart!" Evelyn Clayton stepped forward, wanting to hug Sharon and give her a kiss, but seeing her current state, she held back.
Shane Sinclair laughed beside her, "Sharon woke up at around five in the morning, the doctor has already been to check her and said there’s no major issues."
"That’s good, that’s good." While speaking, Evelyn Clayton noticed a faint bruise under Shane Sinclair’s eyes.
"Brother, did you not sleep last night?" Evelyn Clayton frowned, "Go back and rest, Yara and I can handle things here."
Shane Sinclair got up and waved, "The company has a eting I need to attend, contact at any ti if needed."
Watching Shane Sinclair leave, Evelyn Clayton felt uneasy.
"Mommy..."
Sharon’s weak voice pulled Evelyn Clayton from her thoughts, and she put on a gentle smile, "What’s wrong, Sharon? Are you uncomfortable sowhere?"
"No." Sharon shook her head, her big eyes slowly lighting up with hope, "Yesterday, besides you and Uncle, did anyone else co to see ?"
For a mont, Evelyn Clayton didn’t grasp her aning and laughed, "Of course, your godmother and aunt also ca."
"No..." Sharon wrinkled her nose, "I ant other people, aside from godmother and aunt."
Evelyn Clayton froze for a second before realizing.
Was Sharon asking about Jas Grant?
Her throat inexplicably went dry, and after a long mont, she softly said, "Why does Sharon ask such a question?"
"I heard... I think I heard a voice." Sharon looked seriously at Evelyn Clayton, "While I was unconscious, I heard you talking to an uncle who wasn’t Uncle."
Evelyn Clayton understood Sharon’s aning.
It seems, although Sharon was unconscious yesterday, she heard Jas Grant’s voice.
Who knows how much she heard...
Evelyn Clayton couldn’t continue hiding it from her, softly saying, "Sharon’s father ca yesterday and saw you."
Sharon’s eyes were full of joyful anticipation.
"Will Daddy co today?"
Evelyn Clayton hesitated.
In her heart, she naturally didn’t want Jas Grant to co.
Sharon is still very weak; eting Jas Grant now, what if she gets too excited and isn’t careful, that wouldn’t be good.
