The matter of Evelyn Clayton "becoming" Shannon Sinclair was sothing the Sinclair family could use their considerable influence to hide from Arthur Chandler and Harrison Grant, but they could never hide it from those with familial ties to the Sinclair family.
For instance, Pauline Warren’s half-sister, Yvette Warren.
Evelyn Clayton only t Yvette Warren after giving birth to Sharon. This distinguished lady bore an uncanny resemblance to Pauline Warren, yet her deanor was completely different.
Her entire deanor matched her na, a dignified presence with an unapproachable sharpness, and she spoke and acted decisively.
At that ti, Evelyn Clayton was still in her postpartum period when Yvette Warren ca to visit. She put down the gift, exchanged a few lukewarm pleasantries, and then left.
The entire process took less than ten minutes.
Evelyn Clayton was worried that Yvette Warren might say sothing to Arthur Chandler upon returning, because she could tell that Yvette Warren didn’t have a good relationship with Pauline Warren.
One could even say that Pauline Warren’s relationship with the entire Warren family was quite distant.
Moreover, Yvette Warren and Arthur Chandler were married, and the Chandler and Warren families were bound by interests, which seed unlikely to help cover up her identity.
But Pauline Warren assured Evelyn Clayton.
She said her elder sister was principled.
Even though her relationship with Pauline Warren was average, and she was married into the Chandler family, to Yvette Warren, siblings and family were most important.
Besides, Yvette Warren and Arthur Chandler were essentially a couple in na only, showing affection in public but barely speaking to each other at ho.
Pauline Warren’s exact words at the ti were, "She knows her boundaries."
The statent was profound.
Evelyn Clayton wasn’t too sure how much these so-called boundaries actually ant, but she chose to trust Pauline Warren.
Ti proved that for years, everything remained peaceful.
She hid herself well.
Yara Reagan listened to Evelyn Clayton and pondered, "I’ve heard so rumors about this Warren heiress. It’s said she’s recently involved in a public project, possibly related to Pinehill Prison’s reconstruction—is that true?"
Yvette Warren owns her own real estate company, working on projects that ordinary dostic real estate groups can’t compare to.
She’s operating with a golden spoon.
This can be seen from Yvette Warren’s involvent with the Pinehill Prison project.
"It is indeed true." Evelyn Clayton nodded, "And the one competing against her for this project is Arthur Chandler."
Yara Reagan raised an eyebrow in surprise, "Isn’t that like a flood washing into Dragon King’s Temple? Does it matter who gets it between the two of them?"
"Of course it matters. If Yvette Warren gets it, it’s the Warren family’s. If Arthur Chandler gets it, it’s the Chandler family’s."
As she spoke, Evelyn Clayton’s gaze gradually grew cold, "And it might even end up in Sumr Monroe’s hands."
If Sumr Monroe could eventually get a share through Arthur Chandler, she would truly have secured her position in the Ford family.
Yara Reagan evidently thought of this, appearing quite serious.
She contemplated whether to inform the Ford siblings about this matter, so she asked Evelyn Clayton, "If this information is confird, should we inform Violet Ford and the others?"
"No rush, let’s wait for Shane to co and ask him." Evelyn Clayton pondered, "He hasn’t ntioned anything before, so I figure it might not have officially started yet."
When it cos to Chandler family matters, Shane Sinclair has always been the first to inform her.
As they were talking, Shane Sinclair entered from the hospital room door.
"Speak of the devil." Yara Reagan lightly teased.
Shane Sinclair ca in, took off his coat, approached to take a look at Sharon, and asked, "How’s everything?"
"Pretty good, the doctor said she’ll wake up tomorrow."
Shane Sinclair nodded relievedly and said, "I haven’t told Mom and Dad yet. I told them you, Yara Reagan, and Iris Lockwood took Sharon out today. It’s better to wait until Sharon wakes up before letting them co over, so they don’t worry."
