Charlotte Sterling’s eyes revealed a hint of mockery as she glanced sideways at Jas Grant, her disdainful gaze starkly contrasting with her timid posture.

She spoke, her voice raspy and unpleasant, as if her throat had been scorched by fire, "You want to find Evelyn Clayton, huh? I’ve already told you, she’s dead."

Jas Grant’s pupils instantly turned blood-red.

Scenes from five years ago replayed in his mind like fras from a movie.

Back then, he had rushed the already unconscious Evelyn Clayton to the hospital. If not for Iris Lockwood’s intervention, preventing Yara Reagan from getting to Jas, Yara seed poised to take him down with her.

Under Iris Lockwood’s calming presence, Yara Reagan finally settled down, but she insisted on contacting the Sinclair Family.

The Sinclair Family arrived just as the surgical room lights dimd.

The doctor ca out and announced the results.

Evelyn Clayton was admitted to the intensive care unit; her life was saved, and the child was still there. However, the accident earlier had injured her head; the prior clotted blood dispersed again, blocking her brain nerves.

No one could predict when she would wake up; it was left up to fate.

The Sinclair family, with Silas Sinclair and Shane Sinclair, remained relatively calm, only prohibiting Jas Grant from approaching Evelyn Clayton’s ward, while Pauline Warren almost fainted from crying.

Jas Grant knew he was guilty and didn’t oppose the Sinclair Family, instead, he went to the hospital day after day, hoping and waiting for Evelyn Clayton to wake up.

Yet, that day never ca.

On the fifteenth night of Evelyn Clayton’s coma, the doctor suddenly issued a critical condition notice. When Jas Grant received the news and arrived, he was t only by the cold expressions of Yara Reagan and Iris Lockwood.

Evelyn Clayton and the Sinclair Family were all gone.

They claid Evelyn Clayton was dead.

But Jas Grant didn’t believe it.

If Evelyn Clayton was dead, why would the Sinclair Family vanish at the sa ti?

Surely, the Sinclair Family had taken her away...

Jas Grant stared hard at Charlotte Sterling, leaning slightly forward, "Charlotte Sterling, five years ago I saved your life, and five years later, I can equally make you disappear without a trace, with no one rembering you. Do you believe ?"

Charlotte Sterling’s pupils trembled for a mont, then she suddenly burst into laughter.

Her laughter grew louder and louder until it reached a manic crescendo, echoing throughout the room.

"Jas Grant, do you think I’m still afraid of death? Do you think soone like fears death?" Charlotte Sterling mocked, staring provocatively at Jas Grant, "Death is liberation for ! I beg you, kill now! I couldn’t wish for anything more!"

Jas Grant looked at Charlotte Sterling, the dark murderous intent in his eyes growing heavier.

After Evelyn disappeared, Charlotte Sterling seed to vanish into thin air, completely without a trace.

Yara Reagan and Iris Lockwood, however, did not leave. They both applied for restraining orders, preventing Jas Grant from randomly approaching or contacting them, making it impossible for him to gain any more information about Evelyn Clayton from Iris Lockwood and Yara Reagan.

He could only look for Charlotte Sterling.

He always felt that Charlotte Sterling knew everything.

Over the years, he had caught Charlotte Sterling many tis, but before he could ask anything, she managed to escape, and so Jas Grant relentlessly captured her again and again.

Jas Grant’s gaze was dark.

This ti would be the last.

"Charlotte Sterling, I advise you to think it over. If you’re still not ready to tell the truth this ti, while I can’t kill you, I can make your life worse than death." Jas Grant slightly raised an eyebrow, looking contemptuously at Charlotte Sterling, "You know , I always follow through."
