Tristan Hawthorne took a sharp breath and slowly said, "Jas, get a grip. The Sinclair family is quite reputable in Aethelburg. Even if you dominate Riversend, you must tread carefully in front of those families in Aethelburg. Do you really want to destroy everything you have now?"
"What does Evelyn Clayton have to do with the Sinclair family? Her last na is Clayton, not Sinclair." Jas Grant scoffed. "Evelyn won’t want the Sinclair family ddling in this. Because once they intervene, her return to Riversend will be exposed, and her whereabouts won’t stay hidden for long. Evelyn is keen on avenging Harrison Grant and Sumr Monroe."
Tristan Hawthorne looked puzzled, "What do you an by that?"
"Nothing much." Jas Grant smiled slightly. "Please pass on the ssage to Yara Reagan and Iris Lockwood. If they want to et, I’m available anyti."
Tristan Hawthorne found Jas Grant increasingly hard to understand.
He gazed deeply at Jas Grant for a long while, finally sighing helplessly, "Jas, you’ve been smart since you were a kid; why are you regressing?"
Having said that, Tristan Hawthorne turned to leave.
As he reached the door, he paused.
"Eight o’clock tonight, at Yue Haifeng, Yara and Iris will be there, and I hope you can be on ti too."
Jas Grant spoke calmly.
"Alright, got it."

Night fell.
The winter night at eight in Riversend is always bustling, yet this bustle carries an air of busy unrest, with people coming and going without much warmth.
Jas Grant’s McLaren couldn’t escape the traffic, crawling along the overpass for over half an hour. By the ti he arrived at Yue Haifeng, it was nearly nine o’clock.
He opened the door to the private room and, without glancing at the three pairs of eyes fixed on him, he headed straight to an empty seat.
Then, he displayed a cold smile.
"If you have sothing to say, speak quickly. I need to get back to Evelyn."
To Yara Reagan and Iris Lockwood, Jas Grant’s words were nothing short of provocative.
Iris Lockwood could barely contain her anger and was about to speak when Yara Reagan held her hand down.
Though Yara Reagan’s face was still pale, her dark eyes showed no emotion.
She got up, walked over to Jas Grant, and poured him a cup of tea. "Director Grant, since you’re here, let’s have a good talk. Why, in a rush to leave because your conscience is guilty?"
Jas Grant turned his indifferent gaze to Yara Reagan, and after a while, chuckled lightly.
"Yara, I underestimated you before."
Yara Reagan returned to her seat, smiling vaguely. "Director Grant, why do you say that? Surprised that I had the guts to ask you out?"
Jas Grant raised an eyebrow and said nothing.
"Since you’re not saying anything, I’ll assu I wasn’t wrong." Yara Reagan smiled slightly. "Director Grant, I won’t beat around the bush. Let Evelyn go, and everything will be negotiable. If you don’t..."
Yara Reagan looked at Iris Lockwood.
Iris Lockwood spoke coldly, "Evelyn and I are on the sa household registration, and I have the right to file a lawsuit. If it really cos to that—"
Jas Grant suddenly laughed softly, interrupting Iris Lockwood.
"Why not ask Evelyn if you should file the lawsuit? I’m giving you both the chance to see her. If she’s willing, you can sue all you want."
Cold mockery flashed through Yara Reagan’s eyes.
"Director Grant, who said we can only sue you for unlawful detention? If I rember correctly, Harvestide Holdings was recently embroiled in a lawsuit due to a shareholder embezzling funds. And Gene Young, he’s a police officer. If this escalates to assaulting a police officer, it won’t be easy either."
"If these entangle you in lawsuits, what will happen then?"
