Yara Reagan has no idea where Julia Lawrence is either, feeling utterly confused.

Upon arriving at the company, Evelyn Clayton decided to ask Old Wang.

"Well, Little Liu said she was sick and has been resting. I had planned to tell you today, but you asked first." Old Wang spoke nervously, "Sorry, Director Clayton, Little Liu’s situation is sowhat complex, please don’t bla her."

Evelyn Clayton frowned slightly, "No problem, if worst cos to worst, after work I’ll go with you to check on her."

There were too many things going on at the company, and Evelyn Clayton couldn’t pay attention to these small issues with Julia Lawrence.

In the afternoon, Rhys Jacobs returned to the company.

"The employee arrangent at Vanreid is almost done; the workers at the factory know Vanreid’s salary is less than theirs, but haven’t said anything."

Rhys Jacobs placed the employee registration form for Vanreid on Evelyn Clayton’s desk, "Violet Ford called, saying that the police have already filed a case, and finding John Jacobs is just a matter of ti. They want you not to worry and focus fully on preparing for Gem’s latest fashion show."

Evelyn Clayton also knew that she couldn’t waste too much ti on this issue. Both she and Yara Reagan had simultaneously acquired another factory, and the two factories were fully sufficient for the production of new fashion.

When leaving work in the evening, Evelyn Clayton saw there were still no movents from Old Wang’s side, so she prepared to find him and visit Julia Lawrence together.

However, just as she left the office, an unfamiliar call ca in.

Evelyn Clayton picked it up, it was Charlotte Sterling.

"What’s the matter?" Evelyn Clayton asked indifferently.

Charlotte Sterling’s tone was tense, and her voice was very soft: "Philip Lockwood told today to transfer ten percent of the shares I hold to him. What, what should I do?"

Evelyn Clayton’s tone was indifferent, "What else did he say?"

"He didn’t say much, just asked my opinion, said he could give money based on Aegis’s current market value... Could he be trying to trick ?"

Evelyn Clayton chuckled lightly, "He’s been trying to trick you from the very start, you’re only realizing now?"

Philip Lockwood wouldn’t simply give Charlotte Sterling money unless he genuinely had a change of heart.

But the chances of that happening are almost zero.

It’s most likely that Philip Lockwood would coax Charlotte Sterling into signing the share transfer contract, then keep dragging on, until he runs away with the money and Charlotte Sterling sees nothing of it.

"What should I do now?" Charlotte Sterling’s voice was genuinely panicked.

Evelyn Clayton, unhurried and prepared, presented her solution: "Originally, I was planning to gather the money in a few days to buy your shares at the original price. But now that you’re anxious, the price unfortunately has to be reduced, can you accept that?"

Charlotte Sterling, having already been thrown off by Philip Lockwood, couldn’t care less about other things at the mont.

Upon hearing this, she gritted her teeth and asked, "How much can you give ?"

Evelyn Clayton smiled faintly, "How much do you want?"

After a long silence, Charlotte Sterling seed to make up her mind, "Give one million, and I will hand over all Aegis shares!"

Without a second thought, Evelyn Clayton replied directly, "Seven hundred thousand."

"You! You’re taking advantage of !" Charlotte Sterling, realizing her predicant, raised her voice in anger, "Seven hundred thousand is absolutely—"

"The contract can be signed tonight, cash in hand upon signing, otherwise, go make a deal with Philip Lockwood." Evelyn Clayton’s voice remained indifferent.

Charlotte Sterling hesitated for a long ti, ultimately gritting her teeth, "Fine, I agree! But I can’t make the transaction tonight, get the money ready, and we’ll et at the usual place in three days!"
