Evelyn Clayton wore the pure white gown she designed, the fabric illuminated by the lights as she moved.

The silver-embroidered bamboo leaves were clearly visible, gently swaying, cleverly intricate and exquisite.

On her beautiful face was a perfectly tid smile, her red lips slightly curved, her stunning and smooth facial features displaying a calm and composed expression.

She walked to the front of the stage, stood still, and bowed in gratitude.

"Thank you all for attending and watching the Dreamlight Haute Couture show. These haute couture pieces were independently designed by , fulfilling a past dream and attempting to blend traditional and modern styles."

Evelyn paused slightly, her gaze leisurely turning towards Franklin Ford’s direction.

She saw Sumr Monroe’s livid face, glaring at her through gritted teeth.

"If it weren’t for the support of Director Ford from The Ford Group, this fashion show wouldn’t have been possible. Here, I also want to thank Director Ford." After a pause, Evelyn’s lips slightly curved upward, "Of course, I must also thank Director Monroe."

Sumr was nearly unable to sit still.

How could this be?!

She clearly had already—

The dia had already begun scrambling for interviews.

On stage, Evelyn was surrounded by a sea of people, and the atmosphere at the venue started to gradually ease.

Yara Reagan went to rescue Evelyn and smiled to the dia—

"The auction for these clothes will be happening shortly. Please wait until after the auction is over for interviews!"

The dia reluctantly dispersed, and Evelyn stepped down from the stage, catching a glimpse of a tall figure with her peripheral vision.

She hesitated for a mont, then Yara grasped her arm.

"It’s Jas Grant, stop staring," Yara whispered, "Focus on the main event."

Evelyn nodded, indicating she understood.

At this mont, Franklin Ford approached slowly, with a smile on his face.

"Designer Clayton, today’s show was a breathtaking spectacle for ."

"You’re too kind." Evelyn’s gentle smile was graceful, "Fortunately, I did not disappoint."

Seemingly pleased with Evelyn’s humility, Franklin’s smile deepened.

"I believe the upcoming clothing auction will also bring delightful surprises."

As the atmosphere was becoming harmonious, Sumr approached with an odd expression.

Evelyn’s expression remained unchanged, she only calmly gazed at Sumr, "Director Monroe, long ti no see."

Detecting the deeper aning in Evelyn’s words, Sumr forced a rather cold smile.

"Yes, long ti no see. Designer Clayton’s performance today was truly eye-opening for ."

"I’m flattered. If not for so underhanded sabotage, today’s show might have been even more outstanding." Evelyn retorted casually.

"Director Monroe, have you heard? My factory was burnt down not long ago. After the investigation was filed, your assistance might be needed."

Sumr’s hand at her side clenched slightly, almost biting her teeth to pieces.

Franklin laughed and extended his arm, ignoring Sumr, and only said to Evelyn, "Designer Clayton, would you do the honor of attending the auction together?"

Evelyn nodded with a gentle smile and signaled Yara with her eyes.

Yara understood imdiately, casting a glance at Sumr.

"Rest assured, you and Director Ford oversee the auction, I’ll wrap things up here without letting anyone sabotage our efforts."

Faced with such sarcasm, Sumr dared not respond and could only endure, her eyes full of gloom.

Evelyn placed her arm in the crook of Franklin’s, the two of them making a handso couple, and headed to the auction venue on the third floor.

Sumr followed closely behind.

She was determined to see if Evelyn could truly have the last laugh today!
