"Director Grant, should we reschedule the eting?"
In the CEO’s office, Amy softly reminded the silent boss.
"No need. The eting continues."
Jas Grant suppressed the unusual look in his eyes and spoke steadily.
After the eting, Amy was called to the office by Jas Grant.
"Director Grant, it’s been found out that a fan of Cindy Owens caused trouble for Miss Clayton today, splashing her with ink. Miss Clayton has already called the police, and the person has been arrested."
While reporting, Amy couldn’t help but admire Evelyn Clayton’s swift action.
Previously, those won would vie for Jas Grant’s attention, coming to him in tears to try and win his favor.
Only Evelyn Clayton handles matters directly, truly distinctive.
Jas Grant pondered for a mont: "It seems it’s ti to rein those won in. From now on, anyone who opposes the future Mrs. Grant is opposing the Grant Family. You know what to do."
"Understood."
After Amy left, the cold intention in Jas Grant’s eyes gradually surfaced.
Cindy Owens was waiting to see Evelyn Clayton make a fool of herself, when her agent suddenly called her.
"Cindy, did you offend Mrs. Grant?"
"Which Mrs. Grant... oh, you an Evelyn Clayton." Cindy Owens replied irritably: "What kind of Mrs. Grant is she? She hasn’t officially married yet."
The agent, in a panic: "Are you out of your mind? Even if she doesn’t marry Jas Grant, she’ll marry Matthew Sullivan. Either way, she’s with the Grant Family. How many lives do you have to dare provoke the Grant Family?"
"Oh, co on, just relax." Cindy Owens recalled the night at the celebrity venue, where Jas Grant was intimately playing gas and drinking with her, feeling quite confident: "What kind of man is Jas Grant? He only likes won fighting over him, he wouldn’t stick up for a woman."
The agent tried to say more, but Cindy Owens impatiently interrupted.
"Alright, alright, I have things to do, we’ll discuss other matters later."
Thinking the matter had concluded, Cindy Owens received bad news the next day.
The movie contract she thought was hers was now given to another actress.
The new actress’s popularity and qualifications were inferior to hers; it was absolutely impossible that soone hadn’t ddled behind the scenes!
The agent frantically looked for Cindy Owens.
"I’ve heard it’s Jas Grant’s decision. Go plead with Jas Grant quickly, you must regain this role. You’re only one good movie away from reaching the top tier. Regardless, you have to make Jas Grant change his mind, understand?"
No need for the agent’s advice, Cindy Owens knew she had to plead with Jas Grant.
But when she called Jas Grant in the morning, only a cold secretary told her that Jas Grant was very busy today and couldn’t see her.
To prevent her acting career from ending here, Cindy Owens decided to swallow her pride and find Evelyn Clayton.
At this ti, Evelyn Clayton was busy drawing in the studio.
For so reason, Matthew Sullivan hadn’t bothered her these past couple of days, allowing her to work peacefully.
Engrossed in drawing, Yara Reagan suddenly approached and mysteriously asked: "Did you et with Jas Grant last night?"
Evelyn Clayton’s good mood abruptly ended: "My collaboration with him ends here."
"Really cut ties? Then why did he do this?" Yara Reagan pushed the computer toward her: "Look, international director Ethan Sullivan suddenly announced today that the female lead is Vivienne Sullivan. It was rumored the lead would be Cindy Owens; isn’t it Jas Grant standing up for you, dealing with that woman?"
