After Evelyn Clayton was discharged from the hospital, she had no ti for rest and headed directly to the factory.

The factory was still a ss, with the workshop manager, Old Wang, arranging for the workers to carry out the last bit of burnt fabric.

Seeing Evelyn return, Old Wang quickly approached her, surprised and hesitant, "Director Clayton, how co you were discharged so quickly? I thought you were quite serious yesterday, wouldn’t it be better to rest a couple more days?"

"It’s fine." Evelyn didn’t waste words, directly and straightforwardly asking, "Has anyone co by the factory?"

Old Wang nodded repeatedly, "Director Ford’s side sent soone over; they asked about the situation when the incident happened yesterday and then left. They said they might co by again today."

Evelyn and Yara Reagan exchanged a glance, not pursuing the topic further, only asking, "Has the damage to the fabric been tallied up?"

As she spoke, Evelyn walked inside, surveying the condition of the factory building.

Fortunately, aside from the fabric, the factory building was hardly affected by the fire, and the machinery was still perfectly intact.

Old Wang called for soone to bring the fabric damage report and handed it to Evelyn, sighing continuously.

"Although the damaged items are not much, they are all pure wool worsted. After being scorched, they are almost unusable."

Evelyn’s expression turned cold.

Beside her, Yara Reagan also looked solemn, turning to Evelyn, "Pure wool worsted fabric is hard to procure. Even from Franklin Ford’s side, it might be difficult to gather enough to cover the loss quickly. Perhaps we should consider reducing the production quantity?"

Upon hearing this, Evelyn’s eyes showed hesitation, her lips pressed tightly together, silent for a while.

Thinking she was struggling with the decision, Yara sighed, "It’s an inevitable solution. Consider it an application from , the design director, to request a reduction in quantity—"

"No." Evelyn suddenly spoke, her fair and delicate face full of determination, "I want the quantity, and I want the quality."

Yara was rendered speechless and, after a mont, was left with only helplessness.

She knew Evelyn was stubborn, but didn’t expect her to be this stubborn.

"Yara, you should go to the exhibition and keep an eye on things. I’ll stay here and negotiate with Franklin Ford. We’ll communicate if there’s an issue."

Evelyn spoke without hesitation, her tone allowing no argunt, forcing Yara to compromise.

After repeatedly urging Evelyn to take care of her health, Yara left.

Evelyn stayed at the factory, working with the workers to move the remaining fabric to the warehouse for temporary storage.

The pure wool worsted might still be useful later, certainly can’t be thrown away now.

Having been busy all morning, Evelyn’s vision blurred, forcing her to go to the office for a temporary rest.

Just as she settled, Old Wang hurried in again.

"Ace Shaw is here!"

Evelyn’s eyes narrowed slightly.

Ace Shaw was Franklin Ford’s assistant, rarely visiting the factory. With Franklin sending Ace today, it showed serious attention.

Evelyn waited a while at the office door, and Ace ca over with a briefcase.

"Director Clayton." Ace approached, courteously shaking her hand, his glasses with gold rims looking exceptionally wise and calm.

Evelyn curved her lips slightly in politeness, speaking lightly, "Co in and speak."

Inside the office, Evelyn invited him to sit down, her tone sowhat solemn, "I won’t beat around the bush. Director Ford couldn’t make it, so I have to ask you. Fifty rolls of pure wool worsted fabric are damaged. When can the replacent fabric arrive?"

Ace appeared calm, as if the fabric was hardly worth ntioning, adjusting his glasses and avoiding the question.

"I have gathered so information this morning and have begun preparations. However, there is sothing I need to ask you first."

Evelyn paused slightly, "What?"

"The fabric can be free to reorder, but how do you plan to continue the work ahead? Do you have any ideas on your end?"
