Jas Grant, however, did not react. He simply stood there quietly, solemnly declaring, "I will take over that last project again."
"Why the sudden change of mind?"
Harrison Grant raised an eyebrow, puzzled by Jas Grant’s decision, but he still agreed.
He no longer held much power, had little say in the company, and rather than tearing the family apart with Jas Grant, it was better to maintain a facade of peace.
"There’s no problem with taking over, of course. I’ve always said financial managent is the most suitable choice to lead the project. But as for the matters with Lynn Yates and Sumr Monroe, what are you planning to do next?"
Right now, that’s the most pressing issue.
If this matter isn’t handled well, let alone taking over the project, the entire Atlas Group will struggle to develop peacefully.
"I haven’t solved it yet, but as for Sumr... hehe." Jas Grant didn’t finish the latter half of his sentence.
But from his tone and expression, it was clear he had reached the height of loathing for Sumr Monroe, "I will strip her of all her assets."
Every word from Jas Grant was pronounced clearly and forcefully.
His imposing manner involuntarily startled Harrison Grant, yet an ambitious thought suddenly arose in his heart.
If he sorted out Sumr Monroe, he wouldn’t have to be beholden to anyone anymore.
Not necessarily a bad thing.
"Jas, you... leave so room in what you do so you can et again in the future."
After a pause, he hesitated before adding, "Sumr Monroe is quite cunning. If you take things too far and earn her enmity, she might seek revenge in the future."
Many matters are not as simple as they seem, especially since there is a covert transactional relationship between him and Sumr Monroe.
And all of this, he couldn’t bring himself to speak directly to Jas Grant.
He could only make oblique hints.
Unfortunately, his words seed to have no impact on Jas Grant.
"You’ve stord the business world for years, so you must understand the rules better than I do."
"No matter how good sothing belonging to soone else is, it’s still theirs, and using it feels uneasy. The only way to use it comfortably is to seize it for yourself."
His statent left no room for objection.
Sumr Monroe’s arrogance is largely due to her control of The Ford Group’s lifeline, with a formidable economic power as her backup.
If her support were cut off, Sumr Monroe’s strength would be severely diminished.
At that ti, what storms could she possibly stir?
Harrison Grant hesitated.
He had to admit, Jas Grant was right, and it was very tempting.
No matter how good others’ things are, they ultimately belong to others.
"Yes, you’re right." After about five or six seconds, Harrison Grant couldn’t resist the greed in his heart, "But don’t overdo it, just enough is fine."
"Alright."
"I’ll take you to find Jasper Grant. All the project information is with him, and you can coordinate with him. If anything is unclear, just ask him."
Harrison Grant wasted no ti, taking Jas Grant directly to another office on the sa floor, indicating that he could mobilize all related resources within the Atlas Group.
As for Sumr Monroe...
We’ll deal with it later!
Any excuse can be made up to dismiss her.
Could she really turn the world upside down?
At this mont, Jasper Grant was typing at his computer at his desk.
Seeing Harrison Grant arrive, his eyes lit up, "Dad? What brings you..."
The latter half of the sentence froze in his throat the mont he saw Jas Grant.
His expression briefly showed surprise, but Jasper Grant then resud his usual smile, though it didn’t reach his eyes.
