Jas Grant wore a terrifying expression, directly opened the car door, and got in.
Sumr Monroe saw this and imdiately pounded on the car window in discontent.
"Jas Grant! Where are you going? Are you listening to ? Jas Grant!"
The person inside remained motionless, started the car, and didn’t even glance at her.
Seeing that Jas Grant was about to drive away, Sumr Monroe rushed in front of the car to block him.
"Stop the car!"
The person inside had eyes as cold and clear as an eagle in the night, haughtily aloof yet brimming with power.
Before he could hit the gas, a few masked n in black suddenly ran out in front of the car.
They rushed forward, forcefully covering Sumr Monroe’s mouth, and directly dragged her away.
Sumr Monroe struggled desperately in terror.
"Help ! Jas Grant!"
Jas Grant’s expression changed drastically, and a furious chill exploded from him.
He slamd the gas pedal, sped ahead in pursuit.
The group tied up Sumr Monroe in the vehicle, binding her hands and feet, and covered her mouth with tape. She could only let out fearful whimpers, desperately kicking and struggling.
"Shut up! Yell again, and I’ll cut off your tongue!"
The man in black directly flashed a shiny knife, and Sumr Monroe, terror-stricken, stiffened her body, not daring to make a sound.
The vehicle sped along the bustling streets, the sound of honking horns rose and fell.
Jas Grant’s car raced swiftly behind, relentlessly following.
The veins bulged on the back of his hand gripping the steering wheel; his spine was rigid with tension.
The air around him was heavy with hostility, and he fixated fiercely on the van ahead.
"What are you doing! Trying to get yourself killed!"
It raced by, nearly colliding with other cars, the tires skidding on the ground, leaving black streaks.
Through the rearview mirror, Sumr Monroe saw Jas Grant’s car and trembled in fear.
"Damn! Is that guy crazy or what! So wild! He’s chased us for several blocks already!"
The n in black hadn’t expected the person behind to be pursuing them like a madman, and they panicked.
Up ahead was The Argent River Bridge, with the Argent River below, its depths unfathomable.
"Drive on it! I want to see how he’s going to chase us!"
The van suddenly accelerated wildly, and Sumr Monroe closed her eyes in terror. The only sound around her was the howling wind.
Jas Grant watched as the van shot onto The Argent River Bridge, his thin lips curled, the murderous intent in his eyes so strong it was frightening.
He slamd the accelerator, rushing madly in pursuit, following them onto the bridge.
There were fewer vehicles on the bridge, and the two cars sped swiftly, stirring up clouds of smoke from the ground.
"Damn, he’s still chasing!"
The luxury car behind suddenly accelerated, overtaking the van.
With a sudden sharp brake, it ca to a stop across the middle of the bridge.
The instant the exhaust dispersed, the window rolled down.
A wildly handso face appeared, but it bore a bloodthirsty murderous intent and excitent.
The n in the van kept their speed, seemingly about to crash.
The car in front showed no signs of dodging, forcing the n in black to brake suddenly.
"Ah!"
In the nick of ti, the van stopped a centiter away from the luxury car.
The world seed to fall silent; everyone’s heart skipped a terrified beat.
If the brakes hadn’t worked, crashing would an sinking into the Argent River, with no way to climb out.
In the horrified gaze, a man opened the car door and got out.
At the mont he appeared, blood stread down his forehead, staining his black eyes, nearly insane in his bloodthirsty ferocity that struck fear.
He charged forward, opened the van door, yanked the trembling man in black out, pulled Sumr Monroe down, and tore off the tape over her mouth.
"Jas Grant..."
Sumr Monroe was utterly terrified, her body trembling, looking at the blood flowing down his forehead in shock.
