Evelyn Clayton sneered silently.

She knew Iris Lockwood had ulterior motives in offering her help.

"What’s the condition?"

Iris Lockwood raised her chin arrogantly, "I haven’t decided yet. I’ll tell you later. But I can take you to get the perfu first."

Evelyn Clayton closed her eyes briefly and nodded slightly.

She followed Iris Lockwood out.

As they passed the office doorway, they ran into Jas Grant and Lynn Yates.

"Evelyn Clayton, compared to this, it’s no wonder you couldn’t get Jas Grant."

Iris Lockwood eyed Lynn Yates from head to toe, her light-colored cheongsam accentuating her gentle elegance and deanor of a refined lady.

Evelyn Clayton didn’t pay attention, her gaze lightly swept over.

Lynn Yates indeed looked good, but she wasn’t lacking either.

Her striking features stood out with a certain aggressiveness against any face.

In a crowd, she was soone who could be noticed at a glance and automatically beca the focus.

"Let’s go."

She only glanced a few tis, ignored Jas Grant’s gaze cast at her, and without a word, bypassed them and left straight away.

Jas Grant’s gaze lingered on her departing figure, and the undeniable smile in his eyes was sharply caught by Lynn Yates.

She bit her teeth silently and her eyes turned cold.

——

Evelyn Clayton followed Iris Lockwood to a café.

Iris Lockwood had previously arranged a eting with a friend who had the perfus, a perfu collector who claid to possess many famous niche perfus.

Upon arrival, she saw a man with shoulder-length hair, exuding a unique artistic vibe.

As soon as she got closer, a strong scent of perfu hit her.

"Miss Clayton, the perfu you’re looking for is here."

The man wasted no ti and took out a small bottle of colorless perfu, placing it in front of her.

Evelyn Clayton frowned, unable to resist raising her hand to cover her nose slightly.

She picked up the perfu, unscrewed the cap, and brought it close to sniff.

It had a dicinal aroma, but it wasn’t the sa as the scent on Sumr Monroe.

She frowned slightly and shook her head, "It’s not this one; there’s a big difference."

The long-haired man didn’t believe her, muttering about how rare the perfu was, claiming there was no similar scent anywhere else in the world.

But Evelyn Clayton just shook her head coldly, "Let’s go."

With that, she got up to leave, and Iris Lockwood hurriedly thanked the man and chased after her, frowning in complaint.

"I was kind enough to find this person for you, and you didn’t even say thank you. How rude."

Evelyn Clayton showed no expression and walked straight ahead.

She kept pondering the peculiar scent on Sumr Monroe and why she didn’t go to the hospital despite being so badly injured.

"Evelyn Clayton, I’m talking to you! Did you hear ?"

Iris Lockwood, annoyed at being ignored, stepped up to grab Evelyn Clayton’s arm, but she shook it off coldly.

She could ask Iris Lockwood for help, and give her benefits for it, but that didn’t an she could forget the harm Iris had done before!

Seeing Evelyn Clayton’s slightly dangerous and impatient gaze, Iris Lockwood faltered for a mont, but still grumbled stubbornly.

"What’s with that look? Really, going to such lengths for a perfu, how can you be sure it’s not that one? The guy said that perfu is unique in the world."

Iris Lockwood’s words made her contemplate and confirm her suspicions even more.

If that perfu doesn’t exist anywhere else, then what was on Sumr Monroe?

She recalled that The Monroe Family had high status and influence. Could there be sothing unknown to others?

"Stop talking; let’s get back to work."

Evelyn Clayton couldn’t figure it out now, but she would continue investigating.

She needed to find out what secrets The Monroe Family and Sumr Monroe were hiding.
