Company.

Evelyn Clayton returned to the company, as if nothing had happened, and threw herself wholly into her work.

She wasn’t sure how ti had passed.

It was only when she looked up again that it was nearing dusk.

She frowned, picked up her phone, and found nothing but a ssage from Yara Reagan.

Forget it, there’s nothing worth seeing.

She turned off her phone, and as she stood up from her seat, she suddenly felt dizzy.

Almost fainting, a hand behind her tily supported her waist.

"What’s wrong, are you feeling unwell?"

Evelyn looked up and saw Matthew Sullivan’s face, her mood becoming more irritated.

She pushed his hand away: "I don’t need your help."

She hadn’t eaten all day at work and felt weak, probably having low blood sugar.

Matthew’s keen eyes noticed her pale complexion and, recalling that she had given blood and was busy with work, her body must be exhausted. He turned and left the office, bringing back blood-enriching goji berry porridge he had prepared earlier.

"Here, have this first, it’s good for your blood."

He held a spoon to her mouth.

Evelyn reflexively tried to dodge, but he forcibly held her chin and fed her.

Matthew smugly tried to feed her more.

Evelyn, annoyed, angrily pushed his hand away and said coldly: "I have my own hands. Keep away from , or don’t bla for spilling your porridge."

Hearing her words, Matthew’s face showed a mont of embarrassnt, but he continued to act solicitous.

"You’ve worked hard, the engagent isn’t canceled yet. You’re my wife, and it’s my duty to take care of you."

As he spoke, Matthew once again tried to force-feed her, pretending to be intimate. The office door was deliberately left open so the outside employees could see everything clearly.

"Look at her, flirting with Director Grant one mont, now dining with Matthew Sullivan the next. Tsk tsk, her skills make feel so inadequate."

"Co off it, just a lousy love interest. A woman like her is nothing more than a toy for these rich young n."

"Exactly, just wait and see, in no ti she’ll be kicked out of The Grant Group like trash."

The employees’ gossip reached Jasper Grant, who happened to walk by and heard it all clearly.

He instantly filled with rage and harshly reprimanded: "During work hours, what nonsense are you babbling about? Keep it up, and I’ll tear your mouths apart!"

The employees fell silent, none daring to say another word.

Jasper shot a cold glance and, standing outside the office, saw the scene inside.

Matthew Sullivan was sitting in front of Evelyn Clayton, gently smiling as he fed her porridge.

He couldn’t see Evelyn’s face, but Matthew’s gestures were enough to let imaginations run wild.

Jasper barged into the office: "Evelyn Clayton, where’s my brother?"

Evelyn, irritated, pushed away the troubleso Matthew and looked up.

"You’re in the wrong place. Director Grant must be at a bar now, lost in indulgence, unable to stop."

Hearing her slander Jas Grant, Jasper couldn’t stand it and retorted: "My brother isn’t like that."

Evelyn was indifferent, having heard these argunts often, and preferred to trust her eyes.

She waved her hand and said: "Really? Are those videos edited to fra him on purpose?"

Jasper certainly had seen those videos.

He was montarily speechless, then softened his tone.

"My brother wouldn’t do that; he must have his reasons. Can you forgive him just this once?"

"Forgive?"

Evelyn scoffed and lazily said: "For to forgive him, let him kick all those won around him to the curb first."
