Matthew Sullivan angrily slamd the door and left; Evelyn Clayton finally let her heart settle back in her stomach.

She was really afraid that if Matthew Sullivan said sothing inappropriate, it might provoke Jas Grant, turning this place into a cri scene.

If that happened, she truly wouldn’t know how to dispose of the body.

Evelyn Clayton instinctively turned her head to look at Jas Grant, "Who would have thought Matthew Sullivan had such a side."

"A treacherous wolf in sheep’s clothing becos rampant when successful; it’s human nature, not worth making a fuss about."

These words aptly described Matthew Sullivan, and the two exchanged a smile.

Yet a trace of worry appeared on Evelyn Clayton’s face, "Obviously, soone is pulling the strings from behind. Whose person is the one who deceived you?"

"Many things aren’t as simple as they appear." Jas Grant pursed his thin lips and fell into deep thought.

He already had his suspicions.

Evelyn Clayton pondered, "Your father is in poor health, relying on daily blood transfusions to survive. Do you think this is true?"

A cold light flickered in Jas Grant’s eyes.

Although he only knew a bit about the old man’s health, the idea of needing long-term blood transfusions was utterly preposterous.

There’s always sothing unusual when things are amiss!

"As the CEO of The Grant Group, the company has been profitable for years, and the shareholders are earning handsoly. I don’t see why he would suddenly target you."

Either for money or life.

Evelyn Clayton and Jas Grant were indeed partners in cri.

Jas Grant furrowed his brows, carefully recalling the past but still finding no clue.

"Maybe we missed so details, but it’s unwise to delve into it now. The priority is to resolve the current crisis."

Evelyn Clayton nodded.

"Ultimately, the issue lies in your wager agreent; let’s start there and unravel it step by step."

After discussing, Evelyn Clayton specifically fetched the dical kit.

Layer after layer of gauze wrapped around the man’s slender fingers.

Evelyn Clayton’s delicate brows furrowed as she exhaled softly.

The cool breeze brushed over his hand, seemingly also unsettling the man’s heart.

"I really didn’t expect you to have the potential of a good wife and mother."

"Jas Grant, if you don’t speak, no one will take you for a mute."

Saying this, she applied more pressure with the cotton swab in her hand.

Only to hear the man take a sharp breath.

After simply bandaging.

The decadence on Jas Grant’s face had completely disappeared.

His sharp gaze, he and Evelyn Clayton headed back to the club, prepared to find the person in charge of the previous project for more information.

Know your enemy and yourself, and you will be victorious in every battle.

Evelyn Clayton had already gathered information. That person in charge was nad Bai, and he had a particular fondness for beautiful won.

Today, they both made a costly effort to cater to his preferences.

This club was privately customized and very discreet.

Non-mbers and strangers couldn’t get in at all.

Jas Grant held Evelyn Clayton’s hand as they walked down the long corridor.

In the dim light, their shadows intertwined and overlapped.

Here and there, tall beauties passed by, and calling them less than half-dressed was not an exaggeration; every outfit was suggestive.

The man looked straight ahead, ignoring the presence of these seductive skeletons.

However, Evelyn Clayton’s face grew darker and darker.

"You n really like this type."

Jas Grant suddenly stopped in his tracks ahead, turned with a half-smile, and looked down at Evelyn Clayton, who only reached his chin.

"If you wore it, you’d look even better. How about it? Want to push the envelope and give it a try?"
