Jasper staggered half a step, his gaze turned vacant.

Ignoring Jasper’s accusatory look, Jas warned coldly, "You, keep your distance from her in the future."

Just a fist’s distance away, Jasper sulked, taphorically drinking a barrel of vinegar.

The taste was indescribably sour and sharp.

"Big brother, I wasn’t even that close to Evelyn!"

Jasper gestured at the distance between him and Evelyn, while a thousand curses rolled in his mind.

But Jas didn’t even spare a glance at the spot Jasper pointed to: "She’s immature, and so are you?"

The implication was too obvious and perhaps carried a bit of personal emotion.

Evelyn, who hadn’t planned to get involved, narrowed her eyes and shot him a lethal glare.

"If you can’t speak properly, you might as well lose your tongue," Evelyn said, sweeping a cold glance.

Jas, instead of getting angry, laughed.

anwhile, Jasper watched the show with delight: "Big brother, you already have bad eyesight, and if your tongue gets cut, you’ll be truly mute and blind."

Hearing this, Evelyn nodded in serious agreent.

Jas kicked Jasper on the leg: "No one will think you’re mute if you stay quiet."

"Tsk."

Jas gave him a side-eye, and Jasper imdiately surrendered and moved away from them sensibly.

"Alright, alright, only you can sit beside her, I’m leaving, isn’t that enough?"

Like a wolf, guarding his territory so strictly.

After so playful bickering, Evelyn’s tightly knitted brows gradually relaxed.

Seeing this, Jasper gave Jas a look, grabbed an apple from the table, rubbed it on his clothes, and while eating, said, "Big brother, about that thing from the other day, Yara is now stuck in her own world and won’t co out. Do you have any ideas?"

What does that have to do with him?

Jas was puzzled. Jasper, seeing his indifferent face, knew that Jas’s cold-blooded side had kicked in. Eyeing him, then Evelyn, until his eyes almost cramped, did Jas finally get it.

Evelyn, who witnessed the whole scene: "..."

What’s the mouth for?

She couldn’t understand, so she turned her head, pretending not to see out of respect.

Jas cleared his throat to ease the awkwardness: "If persuasion doesn’t work, I suggest a relaxation thod."

Getting down to serious matters, Evelyn turned back: "What exactly do you an?"

Actually, Yara’s situation is quite easy to understand.

"She’s piled too much pressure and responsibility on herself without relief, and as it accumulates, slowly, it will—"

"Collapse." Evelyn completed his sentence.

Jas showed an appreciative expression: "In this situation, a few comforting words won’t work."

Only after Jas pointed it out did Evelyn realize where exactly the problem lay.

In the end, it’s about failing to truly empathize.

Their pains aren’t shared, and her way of alleviating stress doesn’t fit Yara, which led to the current situation.

"So, how can I help her?"

Jas smiled, touched her head, the warmth spreading from his palm to her hair, a gentle act that brought a shiver.

Evelyn uncomfortably brushed his hand away, eagerly pressing, "Stop keeping us in suspense."

Jas’s thin lips parted slightly: "Take her to have fun, and really enjoy, otherwise it won’t be effective."

Upon hearing this, Evelyn looked at him suspiciously: "Are you sure this thod will work?"

"I’m just offering a suggestion," Jas dodged the question.

He wasn’t foolish like Jasper, who promised everything.

If the result turns out poorly, it would be inevitable that the one who made the suggestion would be implicated, and it wouldn’t bode well if it affected himself.
