When Jiang Feng walked out of the room, he saw several people standing in front of the door, all staring at him.

Among them, besides Weng Xiaoxi and ng Ying, there were two strangers.

These two n had an extraordinary deanor and calm expressions, especially the one wearing a long robe, who made Jiang Feng feel a hint of danger.

"What is this about...?" Jiang Feng grew wary.

"Oh, Senior, let introduce you. This is my father, and this is Uncle Xu. They're not outsiders, so please don't mind them," Weng Xiaoxi quickly explained.

"Hello, I'm Weng Jianlai. I heard you ca to treat my father, so I rushed over to take a look," Weng Jianlai greeted proactively.

"Hello, Jiang Feng," Jiang Feng responded succinctly.

Jiang Feng looked at Weng Jianlai and thought to himself, so this is Weng Shanlin's son. No wonder they look sowhat alike.

Judging by his appearance and deanor, he was certainly not an ordinary person.

"Hello, I'm Xu Chaozheng," Xu Chaozheng stepped forward with a smile.

"Hello," Jiang Feng replied.

"I heard from my disciple ng Ying that you are a martial artist?" Xu Chaozheng squinted his eyes, then suddenly his whole body surged with power, exuding a force like a storm.

Jiang Feng was startled. This man was indeed a martial artist, and stronger than any he had encountered before.

"What do you want?" Jiang Feng asked in a deep voice.

"I have no other intentions, just want to test your strength," Xu Chaozheng said.

Then Xu Chaozheng struck out with a punch.

Whoosh!

A huge fist, like a sandbag, smashed towards Jiang Feng.

Jiang Feng's eyes tightened, and he quickly retreated. Then he rounded his arms and suddenly brought them together, striking out with both palms.

Bang! Bang!

Jiang Feng's two palms hit Xu Chaozheng's fist, imdiately neutralizing his attack.

Xu Chaozheng was stunned, looking at Jiang Feng in surprise.

As ng Ying had said, judging by Jiang Feng's performance just now, he was indeed very powerful.

"Good job. It's rare to see a master like you," Xu Chaozheng said.

"Thank you for the complint," Jiang Feng replied indifferently.

Xu Chaozheng seed unwilling to stop, staring at Jiang Feng like a leopard.

Jiang Feng could feel his power rapidly increasing.

"Let's go again."

Xu Chaozheng's arms shook, and he attacked Jiang Feng once more.

"Tearing Hand!"

Xu Chaozheng's hands spread out, then ford claws, slashing towards Jiang Feng's body like sharp curved blades.

At the tips of his fingers, a cold light flickered, as chilling as thousand-year-old ice, exuding an endless killing intent in the hazy cold air.

"Inner Strength!" Jiang Feng exclaid.

Indeed, judging by the signs, this was the power of Inner Strength.

Unexpectedly, Xu Chaozheng had cultivated powerful Inner Strength, which was the dream of all martial artists.

It's known that no matter how hard martial artists train, they can't truly master the wonders of True Qi.

Martial artists eventually reach a bottleneck, unable to break through their strength.

But Inner Strength can significantly increase their power, reaching a higher realm.

Once Inner Strength is cultivated and mastered, one can be said to be above many martial artists.

But Inner Strength varies in strength. The weak can still condense Qi and kill invisibly, while the strong can cut wood and stone, even forming a powerful Qi barrier, making themselves impervious to blades and bullets.

Xu Chaozheng possessed Inner Strength, showing his formidable strength, not to be underestimated.

"Good eyesight, you can see Inner Strength," Xu Chaozheng said with a hint of appreciation.

Jiang Feng knew about Inner Strength, so he must also know its power and the serious consequences it could cause.

Encountering such a master was beyond Jiang Feng's expectations, truly shocking him.

But he wasn't afraid. It was just Inner Strength; he should be able to barely handle it now. Gaining the upper hand or defeating the opponent would be difficult.

He could only barely cope without getting hurt.

Whoosh!

Jiang Feng swung his arms, his left hand forming a palm and his right hand forming a fist, striking out with both moves.

In an instant, Jiang Feng used "Flaming Lion Palm" and "Tiger Roar Overlord Punch," directly blocking Xu Chaozheng's claws, preventing him from attacking vital points.

To deal with Xu Chaozheng's Inner Strength, Jiang Feng specifically injected a stream of True Qi into his hands.

Although this thod couldn't completely work, it could sowhat neutralize the force.

Bang! Bang! Bang!

The two clashed again, then quickly separated.

Both were unhard.

But Jiang Feng's arms felt a numb pain, and his chest churned with blood, almost making him spit out blood.

Jiang Feng quickly circulated the Nine Heavens Tyrant Body Technique, calming his blood and avoiding embarrassnt.

Xu Chaozheng was shocked and shouted, "You can actually withstand my Inner Strength."

"Your Inner Strength is not at its strongest. Otherwise, I couldn't have taken it," Jiang Feng said.

"Since you know about Inner Strength and are so powerful, what is your purpose today?" Xu Chaozheng questioned.

"Purpose?" Jiang Feng was stunned. "You're overthinking. I'm just here to treat a patient."

"Hmph, I don't believe it. Take this!" Xu Chaozheng didn't believe it and attacked again.

"Mr. Xu, stop," Weng Jianlai called out.

Xu Chaozheng stopped his attack and looked at Weng Jianlai, puzzled. "What's wrong? Why not let take him down?"

"I think this young man is telling the truth," Weng Jianlai said. "With his skills, there's no need for such clumsy tricks."

Xu Chaozheng nodded slightly. Weng Jianlai's words made sense. Indeed, judging by Jiang Feng's current strength, if he really wanted to harm Weng Jianlai, he could have just assassinated him directly, without wasting ti on such tricks.

"Mr. Xu has a keen eye. I'm just a high school student. I didn't know you before today. How could I have any conspiracy?" Jiang Feng said. "I ca today simply because I promised Mr. Weng yesterday to treat his illness, nothing more."

"Yes, I can vouch for that. Jiang Feng is not a bad person," Weng Xiaoxi quickly added. "If he really wanted to harm us, he could have done it yesterday. Why wait until today?"

Xu Chaozheng and Weng Jianlai exchanged glances. Weng Jianlai nodded slightly, and Xu Chaozheng understood, cupping his fists towards Jiang Feng. "I wrongly accused you. I apologize. You are indeed talented at a young age, truly admirable."

Jiang Feng didn't want to continue the conflict. If they really fought, he might not be Xu Chaozheng's match, so it was better to step back.

"Let's consider it a friendly exchange. As they say, no fight, no friendship. It's fate," Jiang Feng said.

"Well said. In any case, I was presumptuous. I apologize for any offense," Xu Chaozheng bowed and apologized again.

"You're too kind," Jiang Feng replied.

"By the way, has the dicine been prepared?" Weng Xiaoxi asked.

"It's ready. Take a look," Jiang Feng took out the prepared pill for everyone to see.

Everyone looked and saw a black pill, looking unappealing, like a random stone picked up from the ground.

Could such a thing really be a miraculous dicine?

Everyone was skeptical.

"Can this really cure my father's lung cancer?" Weng Jianlai questioned first.

He desperately wanted his father's illness cured. He had invited many famous doctors, both traditional and Western, but none had any effect.

And now Jiang Feng brought out sothing that looked like a joke. How could it work?

He couldn't risk his father's life.

Jiang Feng smiled faintly. It was understandable that others didn't believe in the pill's efficacy, given its appearance. Even he felt embarrassed to take it out.

"This is the Recovery Pill I made. Though it looks ugly, its efficacy is excellent. You can try it. There's nothing to lose," Jiang Feng said.

"Are there any side effects?" Weng Xiaoxi asked.

"There shouldn't be," Jiang Feng replied.

"Shouldn't be?" Weng Xiaoxi's eyes widened. Jiang Feng wasn't even sure.

"I think it's worth a try," Xu Chaozheng agreed, as he could sense the pill's potency, sothing only martial artists could feel.

Jiang Feng gave Xu Chaozheng an approving look. This was the difference between ordinary people and martial artists. Their perspectives were worlds apart.

"Since Mr. Xu says it's okay, let's try it. Hopefully, it will be effective," Weng Jianlai trusted Xu Chaozheng imnsely. If Xu Chaozheng agreed, he would too.

"Then let's go. I have other things to do," Jiang Feng said.

Soon, everyone returned to Weng Shanlin's bedroom.

Jiang Feng handed the Recovery Pill to Weng Xiaoxi, saying, "Give it to your grandfather."

"Okay," Weng Xiaoxi gave the pill to Weng Shanlin and brought a glass of water.

Weng Shanlin examined the pill, then swallowed it with a gulp of water.

Everyone watched Weng Shanlin nervously, fearing any mishap.

"Grandpa, how do you feel?" Weng Xiaoxi asked anxiously.

"Silly girl, I just took it. How can it work so quickly?" Weng Shanlin smiled bitterly.

But as soon as Weng Shanlin finished speaking, his face changed, and he spat out several mouthfuls of blood.

"Grandpa!" Weng Xiaoxi held Weng Shanlin in fear.

"Father!" Weng Jianlai panicked.

Weng Shanlin's face was pale, almost golden, looking terrifying.

Was he going to die?

Could the pill have had the opposite effect?

Weng Jianlai glared at Jiang Feng, shouting, "If anything happens to my father, I won't let you go."

Xu Chaozheng and ng Ying had already surrounded Jiang Feng, cutting off his escape.

Jiang Feng shook his head with a bitter smile. "This is the dicine taking effect. Why are you so nervous? This reaction shows that the accumulated blood in the lungs is being expelled, clearing the disease."

At this mont, Weng Shanlin also recovered, his breathing steady, his face regaining color, and his previously lethargic expression becoming spirited.

"You've wronged Brother Jiang. He's right. I feel much better now. I can feel the miraculous effect of the dicine," Weng Shanlin said. "I've had this illness for years. I know best if it's getting better."
