"Hello, Sir Crowley! Going inside with your…Girlfriend, I suppose?"
The guards at the entrance of the interdiate adventurer zone enthusiastically greeted Shye as the two of them approached the entrance of the interdiate adventurer zone under the hatred-filled eyes of the ordinary adventurers.
"Oh, Carlo! Yeah, this is her first ti going inside the interdiate adventurer zone so I thought I'd show her the ropes first"
Shye replied with a smile on his face. He grew fond of the jolly guards of the interdiate adventurer zone and he even occasionally brings so food for them to eat.
As a result, the guards also grew fond of Shye. Not only did they always greet him enthusiastically whenever he went inside the interdiate adventurer zone, but they even gave him an ergency talisman.
Naturally, the guards made sure to show the adventurers that they gave Shye an ergency talisman to deter them from trying anything funny to him inside the interdiate adventurer zone.
This is because once Shye crushes the talisman, it will inform the guards that he is in danger.
In addition to this, small bits and pieces of the talisman would latch on to the troublemakers which would let the guards know who they were.
Many people tried to take apart the talisman, but regular adventurers like them didn't have enough power to remove all the small pieces. As a result, everyone who tried before got caught and put in jail.
Thus, nobody dared to make trouble for Shye simply because of his good relationship with the guards.
"I see, can I see the young Miss' interdiate adventurer badge?"
Shirley imdiately handed over her interdiate adventurer badge to the guards and after a few simple verifications, the guards let them through.
"Well, then, Sir Crowley and Miss Shirley, take care"
After a pleasant conversation with the guards, the two of them continued walking towards the location of their first quest which was to hunt five armored hyenas.
Shye chose to complete a regular quest first to help Shirley adapt to the environnt of the interdiate adventurer zone and to help her gauge the strength of the creatures inside the zone.
After half an hour of walking, the two of them arrived at a location where there were lots of armored hyenas.
Unlike half a month ago, Shye was already adept when it ca to the interdiate adventurer zone.
Although he hasn't explored the deepest parts yet, he already knows the location of the creatures they need to hunt.
Surely enough, after just a few minutes of waiting, a pack of five armored hyenas appeared right in front of them, dragging what seed to be the corpse of a dead Galewood Stag.
*GULP*
Shirley gulped after seeing the sinister appearances of the armored hyenas.
After hearing the gulping sound beside him, Shye turned his head and looked at Shirley who was obviously uneasy.
Upon seeing her anxious expression, Shye quickly tapped her shoulders and smiled at her as if saying "Don't sweat it, I'm here" and sure enough, his words easily made Shirley relax.
Indeed, wasn't her boyfriend the strongest student among all of the sophomores? What was she afraid of?
After gathering her courage for a few seconds, Shirley dashed out from the shrubbery and charged towards one of the hyenas.
Naturally, Shye wouldn't let her fight five hyenas by herself so he also charged forward and intercepted four of the hyenas while Shirley fought the alpha of the hyena pack.
The fight was intense but the alpha hyena was slowly losing ground against Shirley.
Finally, after half an hour, Shirley managed to successfully take down a creature from the interdiate adventurer zone.
During the encounter, Shye made efforts to control the quantity of hyenas engaging with Shirley simultaneously.
Then, after another hour, Shirley successfully defeated four of the hyenas while Shye disposed of the remaining one attempting to escape.
"Nice work!"
Shye tapped Shirley, who was panting in exhaustion, on the shoulder and gave her a big thumbs up for a job well done.
After completing their first quest, the two of them imdiately headed towards the next area.
They had a total of three quests today and it would be best if they could complete all three before night fell.
All their targets were conveniently located near the entrance of the interdiate adventurer zone. As a result, they did not have to set up camp inside; once they completed their quests, they could easily depart.
Half an hour passed before Shye and Shirley arrived at the next location where Thousandfu flowers grew aplenty and upon arriving, it didn't take a long ti for them to find one.
Although easy to spot, plant-type creatures were quite tricky to deal with because even though they were slower than beast-type creatures, most of them were poisonous and if one wasn't careful, they would die.
Luckily, dealing with the Thousandfu Flower wasn't too challenging, and Shirley approached the fight thodically, preventing the creature from causing her any harm.
However, when the Thousandfu Flower was on its final bits of strength, Shirley got careless and was hit by a poisonous fu attack.
"Shirley!"
Due to this, Shye decides to intervene and kill the Thousandfu flower before rushing toward Shirley to give her an antidote.
The challenging aspect lay in the fact that the Thousandfu Flower emitted thousands of distinct fus and while the majority of these fus were relatively mild poisons, so proved to be outright deadly.
Therefore, Shye's initial action was to ascertain the specific poison the flower had unleashed upon Shirley.
However, when his face got closer to hers, a shocking thing happened.
Shirley, who was supposed to be poisoned, suddenly pounced on Shye, her breathing, ragged.
She looked so intoxicated and…sexually aroused.
Aphrodisiac!
After seeing Shirley's condition, Shye was shocked, however, a few monts later, he breathed a sigh of relief because the flower seed to have released an aphrodisiac-type poison which isn't fatal.
The problem is… Shye had to help her get rid of the toxins inside her by engaging in sexual intercourse.
Shirley had difficulties controlling her urges and as a result, she ended up removing her clothes.
Naturally, Shye was simply all too happy to help her remove the toxins.
