Flashy Adventurer System : Show Off to Get Stronger! Chapter 855 855: First Operation Simulation Day
Three uneventful days passed before finally, it was ti for the Unsealing Operation Simulation Day.
The Black Dawn Unit and the Kirov Unit mbers had been sleeping together inside the spacious training hall, waking up each day to follow the sa rigorous training routine with only one rest day per week.
Naturally, due to such a setup, they developed camaraderie and brotherhood, though they wouldn't be able to take advantage of their units' synergy, as Kirov and his n were assigned to a different region.
At the sound of a single, noisy alarm, the elites all woke up in unison.
The sa applied to the commanders and captains, who trained in the hall next door.
Today was the sa.
However, instead of lining up in the ss hall for a hearty breakfast as usual, they quickly changed into their Hadean Varsa uniforms and assembled in a brightly lit, enormous tallic function hall supported by gigantic tal pillars.
The sheer size of the hall, equivalent to about fifteen of the training halls they were using, made Shye wonder what formations Sanada had employed to conceal such an enormous base of operations from the WAA's all-seeing eye.
The reason why the Black Dawn Unit and the Kirov Unit assembled so early in the hall was that Shye wanted his and Kirov's n to be able to eat and drink to their hearts' content before the other units from other headquarters arrived.
After all, their bodies needed energy to function well.
A proper breakfast would allow them to perform well in the operation simulation two hours later.
Watching the ravenous appetites of the Black Dawn and Kirov elites, the chefs and servants assigned in the hall were dumbfounded, quickly realizing that they had no ti to dally.
They had to continuously prepare more food.
Otherwise, the Supre One and the other commanders would be furious should their elites not be able to eat breakfast and lunch properly.
Almost imdiately, they sprang into action, the head chef contacting a few people to deliver more ingredients.
He suddenly rembered the stern warning of one of the Supre One's aides that he should not underestimate the appetite of the elites, breaking out into a cold sweat soon after.
For an entire hour, the Kirov and Black Dawn Elites ate to their hearts' content, though they made sure to only eat to around seventy percent fullness, as they still had to run around during the operation simulation.
Once they finished eating, the elites from other headquarters gradually began to fill up the enormous hall.
They shot varying looks towards the Kirov and the Black Dawn Unit.
Most of them, who had already cross-trained with the two units, gazed at the Kirov and Black Dawn elites with respect, so even bowing slightly upon making eye contact.
But naturally, there were a few who didn't hop on the organizational trend of training with the so-called "strong newcors".
Hence, they weren't too sure about the current strength of the Kirov and Black Dawn elites.
They believed the forr had likely deteriorated with the death of Hakkin, while the latter was rely overhyped, leading to a few rather infuriating condescending gazes, especially from Commander Feng's Unit.
While the Feng elites believed that the Black Dawn elites might be able to hold their own against them, they dismissed the Kirov elites as undeserving of attention.
After all, the Kirov elites were tasked with a less important mission in the Phaskalda Region's capital, Pascaluta City.
At age forty-three, Commander Feng was quite the old-fashioned commander.
He respected the strong and disdained the weak, which was why his elites developed the sa attitude.
They believed that aside from the Cobra, Chaos, and Tigren Units, who had proven their worth ti and again on the battlefield, no one else deserved their attention.
This was especially the case for the Black Dawn elites, who they deed as unproven newcors.
As more units arrived, the Kirov and Black Dawn Unit drew increasing attention, which slightly irked the seasoned veterans.
While the commanders frequently communicated through etings, their elites did not share the sa connection.
Most elites learned about the achievents of other units only through their squadron captains.
They often completed tasks assigned to their units without the help of others, very rarely getting the opportunity to work with other units.
This was the reason for the divide between those who had already worked together and those who didn't.
After all, although they were the most notorious terrorist organization in the world, who perford heinous acts like kidnapping people and dabbling in soul arts, their resources were still limited.
The Unsealing Operation Simulation was the first huge inter-unit gathering Hadean Varsa had with all twenty units in attendance.
It was natural for there to be so competitive atmosphere.
Of course, Sanada was sowhat pleased with the situation, as it ensured each unit would take the practice run seriously and give their best effort.
They would be looked down on if their performance weren't good.
Furthermore, there was a chance that they would be humiliated if they did so, since there were a few strict old heads like Commander Feng, Commander Tigren, and Commander Grover, who would unhesitatingly reprimand them regardless of which unit they were from should they play around.
After twenty more minutes, everyone—including the Cobra Unit—had arrived.
Upon arriving, Cobra imdiately locked eyes with Shye, gunpowder filling the air as the three old heads watched with intrigue.
Chaos inford them of the "special event" that would happen after the unsealing operation simulation practice.
While everyone was preoccupied with the conflict between two commanders, Sanada's voice echoed from the mana-powered speakers positioned in all four corners of the enormous hall, capturing everyone's attention:
"Everyone may now help themselves at the ss table at the back of the room. You have an hour. If there's anything specific you'd like, simply ask the chefs on standby. We will begin after an hour."
Upon hearing the old man's words, the elites and their leaders casually made their way to the long table, helping themselves to whatever they liked and indulging freely.
