Surprisingly, the one who spoke was an incredibly prideful adult Thunder Dragon.
Yet, the young man to whom this powerful creature had sworn servitude rely nodded casually, as if such events were nothing out of the ordinary for him.
Well, it has indeed beco a common occurrence for him now.
Beside Shye stood three more dragons: a young Thunder Dragon, an adult Fire Dragon, and an adult Wind Dragon.
With Rakshan, the adult Thunder Dragon, Shye now had four dragons by his side.
It resembled the scene of an upstart Dragon Emperor steadily building his army by subduing other dragons one by one.
He was about to head towards the next location to subdue the next dragon.
However, just before he could hop on Rakshan’s back to ride him, his mana communicator vibrated.
Based on there being no beeping sound, it wasn’t a call but a ssage.
Shye then retrieved the mana-powered device from the small bag strapped on his hips.
Checking the communicator, he saw that the ssage was from his ultimate underling, proceeding to open it the next mont.
"Boss, ergency!" was the title of the ssage.
With narrowed eyes, Shye proceeded to read the body.
"Kiin, Ian, Luna, Harry, and David are gone! We haven’t seen them since yesterday, but Big Madam Shirley and I only realized they were actually missing today. We asked the guards at the exit, and they said the five of them left yesterday. We suspect that they might be planning to save Wendy!"
Naturally, upon reading the ssage, his narrowed eyes widened.
"Why on earth would they suddenly act so recklessly?!" he fud, pulling another device from his spatial bag in frustration. "Tch, how did they even find out the location of Dweezel’s main headquarters before I did? If only they’d told , the chances of rescuing Wendy would’ve been so much higher!"
What he took out was the activation and tracking device for a one-ti-use soul-tracking pill he had once dissolved into a training tonic that he gave to Kiin for the guy to consu.
Fortunately, his past experiences with carelessness had taught him to prepare for unforeseen situations like this.
Even though the Orb of Truth confird that Kiin wasn’t the Fifteenth Hawkling, he had still chosen to plant the tracking chanism on his friend, just in case there was even the slightest chance he had been deceived.
Today, even though it no longer served its original purpose, it still proved imnsely useful to Shye.
With a beep, the device activated.
It then displayed a small, detailed holographic map, allowing Shye to easily pinpoint where Kiin was.
’Hmm? Yon Augenn City?’ he thought inwardly.
For a mont, he wondered if his friends were actually trying to save Wendy or if they were just having fun and enjoying the city.
After all, while the WAA might be beginning to notice their absence, it was still a bit too soon to consider them "missing", especially since Dweezel hasn’t revealed that he was affiliated with Hadean Varsa yet.
However, he quickly realized that the five were probably not in the mood for gas, given that Wendy was currently in trouble.
This ant that Dweezel’s Main Headquarters were likely inside Yon Augenn City, which, by the way, was an extrely bold move from a cowardly snake like him, though there was also a possibility that the five hadn’t reached their destination yet.
Hence, he didn’t jump to conclusions and observed the red dot in the holographic map.
Shye suddenly felt the urge to call the old man and update him on the situation, but then he rembered that if Sanada had discovered what happened, the old man would likely stop him from helping his friends.
Quickly, he dismissed the foolish idea.

He could have called Shirley and Seira for help, but he chose not to, not wanting to put them in danger.
Infiltrating Dweezel’s Headquarters was no small feat, as it was a task that inevitably ca with life-threatening risks.
Upon further reflection, Shye realized that it would be wiser to follow his friends, since this way, he could intervene if it seed like they were heading into danger.
If he was to observe them, it made more sense to do so up close, allowing him to act accordingly if necessary.
Shye briefly returned the tracking device to his spatial bag before retrieving a Yon Augenn recall scroll.
This scroll would allow him to return to Yon Augenn City quickly, but only via the common teleporter.
Although using such a common teleporter wasn’t the most pleasant experience—since it caused a throbbing headache for a full minute afterward—it actually played in his favor.
He didn’t want Dweezel to know that he arrived in the city, after all.
’Aesthetic Alteration!’ he inwardly exclaid, changing his appearance to that of a middle-aged man.
Then, he activated the scroll, causing him to disappear in an azure ray of light.
Teleportation to a common teleporter had never been smooth.
Hence, it wasn’t instantaneous, and he could see nothing but blue for seven whole seconds before he found himself standing in Yon Augenn’s teleportation plaza.
’Ugh, that didn’t feel good…’ he mused, holding his head for a second.
His current appearance wasn’t very eye-catching.
Hence, after giving him a brief glance, everyone carried on with their day.
Shye was about to leave the plaza, when suddenly, a huge holographic screen appeared in the plaza, displaying the hateful face of a certain old snake.
Seeing Dweezel Hawkins’ live broadcast, Shye’s eyes narrowed.
He could already sense what was about to unfold.
Most likely, the live broadcast would be shown not only throughout Yon Augenn City but across nearly every city in the world.
With clenched fists, Shye could only watch. Disguising himself was clearly a smart decision.
"Everyone, I, Dweezel Hawkins, the forr hero of the Golden Sun, am here to deliver so very sad and disappointing news."
