Upon entering the interdiate adventurer zone, Shye imdiately saw sothing he had never seen in the beginner adventurer zone.
Teary-eyed, deeply wounded adventurers supported each other as they desperately walked toward the exit of the interdiate adventurer zone.
Shye imdiately looked towards the guards but all they did was support the wounded adventurers towards the exit.
No such thing as healing salves or leaf bandages were given to the poor adventurers.
Although Colzen City wanted to save as many adventurers as possible, there were just too many adventurers going inside the interdiate adventurer zone and Colzen City didn't have the funds to help everyone.
In the beginning, Colzen City gave healing salves and leaf bandages to the wounded adventurers but there was an instance when the guards ran out of supplies and soone died because of that.
Instead of thanking the guards for saving whoever they could, the adventurers filed a complaint demanding compensation from the city hall and demanded that the guards should be replaced.
After hearing about the outrageous demands of the adventurers, City Lord Elijah was infuriated and two years ago, the city completely stopped giving out healing salves and leaf bandages outside the interdiate adventurer zone.
Shye clenched his fists after seeing the pitiful state of the adventurers but he had no power to help others right now so he vowed to help other adventurers in the future as much as possible.
Once the wounded adventurers made it out, Shye continued walking inside the interdiate adventurer zone with a heavy heart and it was only after walking for around half an hour that he managed to get the matter out of his head.
During his preparation phase earlier, Shye searched for information about his targets in the adventurer encyclopedia.
He then found out that it was easier to hunt the armored hyenas during the day because they would have a slight speed boost during the night and this is the reason why he decided to target the armored hyenas first.
Shye checked the map that he purchased earlier to look for spots where there might be armored hyenas and after spotting three locations on the map, he quickly walked toward those locations in an attempt to hunt armored hyenas.
Upon reaching one of the locations, Shye vigilantly advanced while looking for the hyenas and then, a few minutes later, he finally heard so laughing sounds.
Armored Hyenas!
Shye slowly moved closer and observed the hyenas while hiding behind the shrubbery.
"Tch...Five hyenas huh?"
Shye muttered to himself as he carefully estimated if he could fight against all five hyenas at once.
The adventurer encyclopedia stated that although the armored hyenas weren't strong individually, they had impeccable teamwork which ans that with every extra hyena, the difficulty becos exponentially harder.
After thinking about the matter carefully, Shye decided to wait a little longer before going in to attack.
He planned to wait a bit and start attacking them once there were only three hyenas.
Unfortunately for him, the hyenas stuck together like glue, and only after two hours did one hyena leave to look for food.
Shye was torn, he wanted to wait a little longer but there were only two hours before the sun went down so after a little bit of dilemma, he decided to fight the four hyenas.
He quickly activated [Dash Lv.1] and [Power Slash Lv.2] to instantly slash an armored hyena into three parts.
After killing the first hyena, Shye's eyes lit up in excitent after seeing that both of his greatswords managed to activate the [Power Slash Lv.2] skill.
He tried it before but sohow, only the dominant hand could activate the skill. Fortunately, he could activate the skill on both swords now which multiplied the damage of his [Power Slash Lv.2] skill by two.
He concluded that the changes must be because of the [Dual Wield Lv.1] skill that he recently learned.
Shye was forced to snap back to reality as two armored hyenas imdiately pounced on him to avenge their fallen packmate while the other one circled him to try and bite him on his hind leg.
This was a common tactic of the hyenas and fortunately, Shye already read about this tactic in the adventurer encyclopedia.
He chose to activate [Stoic Lv.1] and take the attacks of the hyenas head-on in exchange for the life of one more armored hyena.
*SPURT*
Now, two hyenas were dead and the last two started hesitating if they should continue fighting or if they should retreat.
Although he was bleeding quite a bit, Shye smiled confidently upon seeing that the two hyenas didn't know if they should fight or run with their tails between their legs.
He knows that the armored hyenas start to beco anxious when fighting a strong opponent while having less than three mbers so while the hyenas were still hesitating, he took the chance to charge toward one armored hyena in an attempt to lure the last two to fight him.
The quest requirent for the armored hyena was to hunt three hyenas so he couldn't let the last two go or he would have to fight a new pack of hyenas to complete the quest.
The armored hyena who was targeted by Shye knew that it couldn't escape from the human right now because it still wasn't nightti yet and it didn't feel the speed boost yet so it had no other choice but to fight Shye head-on.
anwhile, upon seeing that its packmate was under attack, the other hyena stopped hesitating and also attacked Shye to help.
After realizing that he managed to successfully lure the two hyenas to continue fighting, Shye was satisfied. It would be harder for him if he had to look for another pack of hyenas so this was already the best-case scenario for him.
However, the problem is, he ran out of skills to use.
He only had [Enhanced Reaction Ti Lv.1] while the other skills were still on cooldown.
