Theoden, Leonardo, and Eusford didn't waste any ti and imdiately began attacking Shye.
As the one with the highest raw strength and sturdiest body among the three, Theoden took the role of the main attacker while Eusford and Leonardo constantly rotated toward Shye's blind spots.
Theoden used [Blink Strike Lv.1] to instantly appear behind Shye. He then swung his longsword downwards but Shye managed to block his attack by raising his Nightbringer horizontally.
*CLANG*
Shye sensed soone trying to attack him from behind so he imdiately threw a side kick behind him after defending against Theoden's attack.
*PAH*
"Tch!" Leonardo was annoyed as he was sent flying after blocking Shye's kick.
However, Shye is only one person against three attackers. Due to a small window of carelessness, Eusford managed to inflict a fairly deep cut on the left side of Shye's body.
"Hahahaha! Give it up Crowley. I see that you've improved again after your fight with Siegfried but it's useless. There are three of us here and there's nowhere for you to run!"
Shye gnashed his teeth, Eusford's attack really did hurt him. He was already spent after fighting the ember tiger and now, he had to deal with three assassins.
He used the small window wherein the three were talking shit to purchase an interdiate restoration potion from the system and one lesser health potion which reduced his points to zero.
*GULP*
Shye drank the lesser health potion and slowly felt rejuvenated.
"Pfft! Was that a lesser health potion? Do you think a lesser health potion would save you here? Naive!"
However, Shye rely ignored their remarks and assud his battle stance.
Seeing Shye's unyielding attitude, Eusford was annoyed. He wanted Shye to beg for rcy, to expose his pathetic true self before them but unfortunately for them, Shye isn't one to beg for his life.
He nearly died a couple of tis already so threats to his life like this weren't anything new to him.
"Still keeping up the tough facade I see, let's see how long you can keep this up. Theoden, Leonardo, Again!"
The three confidently executed their battle plan again but unfortunately for them, Shye had already chosen to reveal his trump card to imdiately catch one of them off guard.
Theoden used [Blink Strike Lv.1] again to instantly appear behind Shye but Shye simply used the sa move as earlier to block his attacks.
This ti, however, to mix it up, it was Eusford who attacked next and as expected he successfully blocked Shye's kick.
Leonardo licked his lips as he excitedly used his skill [Lacerate Lv.1] to try and finish off Shye.
However, little did he know that he was the unlucky person who would fall victim to Shye's trump card.
Leonardo completely let his guard down since he believed that Shye couldn't do anything to defend against his attack.
"Die! Crowley!"
A shadow of a smile appeared on the corner of Shye's lips as an iron greatsword suddenly appeared in his left hand.
Then, he used [Stoic Lv.1] to withstand Leonardo's skill before slashing his greatsword down with all his might as he used [Power Slash Lv.2].
"NOOOO!!!"
Leonardo couldn't do anything but scream in despair as Shye swung his greatsword downwards.
This is a battle to the death, unlike their duels inside the academy wherein they used wooden swords to knock each other out.
Shye's [Power Slash Lv.2] hit Leonardo squarely on the shoulder down to the middle of the torso. The wound was so deep that Leonardo would die if he didn't get any help within thirty seconds.
"Regulus!!" Eusford scread in horror.
He didn't expect that things would go this way because they expected that they would easily kill Shye and go out of the adventurer zone before the instructors noticed anything strange.
Unfortunately for them, Shye isn't so greenhorn in life-or-death situations and since Leonardo was now incapacitated, it would only be easier for him to fight the two.
However, Theoden wasn't like Eusford, he didn't care about Leonardo's life or death at all since he hated him as well so he simply launched an attack towards Shye who was still a bit dazed after cleanly hitting a person with an iron greatsword.
Fortunately for Shye, [Stoic Lv.1] was still active so he managed to survive Theoden's attack. He was then forcefully brought back to reality after getting hit and he quickly fell back temporarily.
"Eusford! Quit being a wuss! Didn't we already decide to go through with this?! Why are you just standing there like an idiot?! Let's finish this guy off imdiately so we can quickly get the hell out of here before the instructors notice!"
After hearing what Theoden said, Eusford was finally able to gather his wits. This was his actual first ti seeing soone die right in front of him so he was a bit paralyzed.
Indeed, they had to get out of this place before the instructors found out!
In addition to this, the sll of Leonardo's blood started attracting the apex predators inside the beginner adventurer zone so they had to wrap this up or they might die.
