"Oh? Big Brother Adrian!, Instructor Fienna!"
"Aihh…you too! Stop yelling! Also, stop calling instructor, I'm not an instructor anymore, big sister Fienna is fine."
eting his favorite instructor, from whom he had learned most of his combat techniques, naturally brought an excited expression to Shye's face, especially since he didn't expect to see her in Valenzia City.

…After ordering a bunch of delectable stuff without holding back, it was finally ti for the three of them to have a nice chat.
"I would never have expected to et you at the Valenzia City Hall, instr– b-big sis Fienna. I get that Big Bro Adrian is an adamantite-ranked adventurer but why are you also here?"
"Hmm? Well, I was initially headed to Valenzia City after being promoted to my guild's main branch, but I was intercepted by so damned terrorists or bandits, or whatever they were, who tried to abduct . Naturally, I killed them all, but I was seriously wounded and poisoned in the process. Since I didn't have the antidote for the specific type of poison they used, I nearly lost my life.
Fortunately, Dean Snowcrest found just in ti and gave a high-grade all-cure antidote, which was extrely rare. In gratitude, I promised to serve as a combat instructor for six years."
"I see...so that's what happened...If you don't mind asking, what is your adventurer rank right now, Big Sis Fienna?"
"I'm a recently promoted erald. Since I failed to report to the main branch for years, they demoted to ruby as punishnt."
"HMMPH! No matter, my little sister is way more talented than . it would only be a matter of ti before she becos an adamantite-ranked adventurer!"
Hearing Adrian's proud words, Shye couldn't help but chuckle inwardly.
It seed that Adrian doted on Fienna just as he did on Maia.
'Hahaha, big brothers will be big brothers!'
The guy was more proud of his little sister than Fienna was herself.
"What about you, Crowley? What are you doing in Valenzia?"
"O-Oh, right! Didn't you tell that you've been promoted to the main branch already?!" Adrian suddenly answered with a shocked expression.
Hearing her big brother's words, Fienna's eyes widened in utter shock and disbelief.
"I-Is that true, Crowley?"
She believed nothing Shye did could surprise her anymore, as she was accustod to his incredible achievents.
However, it seed he had once again surpassed his limits in accomplishing the impossible.
It was simply hard to believe that her student, who had graduated from the academy just a little over a year ago, had already caught up to her in adventurer rank.
Seeing his instructor's shocked expression, which he took as a form of acknowledgnt, naturally made Shye feel inwardly giddy.
"Yes, inst– Big Sis Fienna. I'm already an erald-ranked adventurer now and was promoted to the Raven's Blade's main branch about three months ago."
"T-Three months ago?!" Fienna exclaid, causing her to feel embarrassed upon rembering that they were in a restaurant.

Naturally, the big brother would seize this opportunity to strike back and tease his little sister.
"Hahaha! Fienna, why are you so noisy?! We're in a restaurant, no?"
*BONK!*
"Is it funny? We had a whole day and you didn't even tell when you already knew."
Fuming in slight embarrassnt, Fienna gave her older brother a solid whack to the back of his head.
Adrian was quite happy about it, though. The two of them had been apart for six years.
He was just glad that they were still as close as they were in the past.
…After a few more monts, a waiter pushing a small tray cart arrived, delivering all the food they ordered.
Naturally, the fragrant aroma of the seafood dishes instantly captured Shye's attention.
Thus, the three of them paused their conversation to eat, resuming it a few minutes later.
It was mainly Shye, the student, and Fienna, the instructor, who talked while Adrian happily listened to the two of them, gazing deeply at Shye from ti to ti.
He was still having difficulties believing that the super rookie in front of him, who had every reason to be arrogant, was actually a very likable guy.
As ti passed, Shye recounted his glorious and unbelievable tales to the two of them, causing Adrian's mouth to drop open with each story.
If another person told such heroic stories, people would laugh at the guy for being delusional.
As for Fienna, however, there was a bittersweet feeling in her heart. She knew that her student wasn't a lying phony, aning that everything he told her was true.
If so, then it ant that he had already surpassed her.
In the past, despite Crowley's talents, he always ended up as her training dummy, enduring nurous slashes and stabs from her wooden sword.
But now, it seed that such things couldn't happen again.
She knew she couldn't defeat her student anymore, yet, she didn't want to run away. She wanted to face the truth head-on.
Fienna herself was a prideful talented youngster who was a once-in-a-millenia genius.
Hence, it was quite difficult for her to accept that she had been surpassed.
However, since Shye was her student, there was this tinge of happiness deep inside her.

"Yes, Big Sis Fienna?"
"Fight ."
"W-What?"
"I said fight . I want to see your progress."
Seeing her serious disposition, Shye knew he couldn't refuse.
Perhaps his beloved instructor wanted to test if she had already been surpassed by her student, or perhaps she simply wanted to spar with a formidable opponent; either way, Shye had to face her in combat.
Otherwise, he felt that she would sohow drift away.
"Alright then. I won't hold back, big sister."
"My thoughts exactly."
