"Nice, the division should be promoted to two-star next month…" Shye muttered as he strode out of the guild headquarters.

He was headed to Valenzia City Hall to answer the city lord's summons.

He didn't know why he was summoned, however, he was at least sure that it wasn't for sothing negative.

After all, he just completed the special quest no one has ever been able to complete. Experience new stories on empire

"Hmm... My division is growing faster than I anticipated. I thought it would take us about a month and a half to beco a two-star division, but at this rate, we might reach that goal in around three more weeks..." Shye mused.

There were five division tiers with five-star divisions being the highest.

As for two-star divisions, they were nothing but the average ranks of most divisions in Valenzia City.

Even guilds who weren't in the top fifty had multiple two-star divisions.

However, despite being common, it was usually very difficult for one-star divisions to beco two-star divisions.

After all, for a division to rank up, it needed a large number of mbers. To attract these mbers, the division leader had to be not only charismatic, talented, or renowned, but also wealthy, as they needed to offer enticing benefits to encourage people to join their division.

Hence, upstart divisions, which were led by rely passionate yet diocre individuals, were rcilessly stuck at the one-star rank.

As a result, the once enthusiastic leaders either beca depressed upon realizing they were destined to follow soone else or lost their excitent, slowly turning into lazy adventurers who would never amount to anything.

Thus, the explosive growth of the Flashy Ravens Rising, a division led by a rookie, was truly astonishing.

It even incurred the jealousy of a few division leaders and their deputies.

Unfortunately for them, their options to bully newcors were limited as Soaring Raven was well aware of such pettiness, hence, he had long solved such problems.

How? Well, he implented two things.

First, he ensured that higher-ranked adventurers couldn't challenge lower-ranked ones to duels, although the reverse was allowed. If a higher-ranked adventurer attempted to challenge a lower-ranked one, their adventurer license would be suspended for two months.

Second, except for certain talented individuals with specific quest privileges, quest priorities would always be given to adventurers of the appropriate rank to undertake the quest.

For example, an erald-ranked adventurer would always have priority for (B) ranked quests.

Therefore, a priority duel would only occur if two erald-ranked adventurers wanted to undertake the sa quest, preventing higher-ranked adventurers from interfering with the livelihood of the lower-ranked ones.

Unfortunately, it was impossible to completely eliminate bullying, as even between two adventurers of the sa rank, there would be a stronger and a weaker one.

The stronger could challenge the weaker to duels and interfere with the weaker adventurer's progress.

Still, the situation in Raven's Blade Adventurer Guild was way better than in other guilds, where only the strong could progress smoothly.

So guilds even encourage the stronger divisions to swallow up the weaker ones.

As for Shye's division, it was hard for them to be bullied. At least for now.

After all, Shye would destroy every other erald-ranked adventurer who dared ss with them while Reginald would do the sa to the diamond-ranked ones.

If necessary, the two of them could go all out and bare their fangs if their three Mithril-ranked adventurers were unable to defend themselves against others of the sa rank.

He would naturally protect his division mbers.

…Upon arriving at the enormous gates of the city hall, Shye felt a bit overwheld by the large crowds and multiple queues.

He didn't know how he would even et the city lord.

Luckily, he spotted a sowhat familiar face, though he couldn't recall where he had t the person.

"Hmm? Shye Crowley! What brings you here?"

"A-Ahh…hello, w-what is your na again? I-I'm sorry, I-I don't have a g-great mory, you see."

"Ughk…your words sting, super rookie. However, I understand as I am not that well-known yet. Again, the na's Adrian Evans, you hear? Adrian Evans. "

"Ahh! I rember you now, you saved back at the gate from being sward by citizens when I first arrived at Valenzia!"

"Y-Yes, that's . So, what brings you here to the city hall?"

"Ahh, the city lord sent a letter telling that I should co see him at his office."

"Lord Blas did? I wonder what for? Oh well, none of my business, hahahaha! Not to brag or anything but I kinda know the guards here so if you just show the letter with the city lord's stamp, I can help you."

"Oh? That would be a big help! Here's the letter."

As Adrian verified the letter, a stern voice sounded from behind the two of them, assaulting Shye's heart with endless waves of nostalgia.

"Big Brother, what are you doing? Didn't you tell you want your division to break through to the top three? If so, then why are you playing around again?"

"A-Ah…hahahaha…sorry, little bud. My little sister is kind of…let's just say a bit too serious. Just bring this letter to that guard over there and th–"

"Instructor Fienna!"

"Oh? Crowley. What brings you here? It's only been a year, and you're already taller than ? Not bad."

"Instructor! I thought the Adventurer Academy Competition was six months away. What brings you here now?"

"Oh. I guess the deans didn't have the ti to inform you, huh? I've already repaid them for saving in the past. Hence, I returned to adventuring with this doofus."

Hearing the overly familiar conversation between his little sister and the legendary super rookie, Adrian was flabbergasted.

He simply couldn't think of a possible connection between the two.

'Wait, he did call her instructor…'

"Ahh! Fienna! So you suddenly disappeared because you beca an instructor at Colzen Academy? No wonder I couldn't find you everywhere! I honestly thought you were already dead, for goodness' sake!"

"Sigh…Why is your damned voice so loud? Calm down, I'll tell you what happened to later. For now, can you let talk to my student in peace?"
