Listening to Chen Wei, Ye Yuning was so exasperated she almost laughed.
She shot her an irritated glance. "Deal with *her*? What do you take for? So kind of tyrant who resorts to vigilante justice?"
Chen Wei was speechless. Aren’t you?
The ruthless way Ye Yuning had dealt with Xiao Shuo flashed through her mind; she wished Ye Yuning would use the sa thods on Ye Tong.
For such an insidious and malicious person, they deserved to be held underwater until they thoroughly ca to their senses; that would be truly satisfying.
Ye Yuning knocked on the table again.
She said to Chen Wei, "Get a grip. I’m running a legitimate business here, don’t make it sound like so underworld operation~!"
Chen Wei ntally rolled her eyes.
Now she talks about a legitimate business? Who was it that acted like a mafia boss before? And now she has the nerve to lecture .
But she really, really wanted to beat up Ye Tong.
Snatching away Xiao Corporation, then two small projects, and now she’s even trying to get her hands on the Blue Island project! It’s infuriating!
"Have Lei An co in," Ye Yuning said, not wanting to waste any more ti on Ye Tong’s matters. In their line of work, results were proven over ti. Ye Tong certainly had an impressive start. Whether she could maintain her position when the wind shifted, that would be the true test of her ability.
Chen Wei snapped back to attention and nodded. "Okay."
She turned and left.

Ye Yuning handed Lei An the draft for the Nanjia Peak project. "Does this draft look familiar to you?"
Lei An glanced at Ye Yuning before taking the draft and looking at it in her hands.
To be honest, she did feel a flicker of familiarity.
"I feel like I’ve seen it sowhere before, but I can’t quite place it right now..."
"So, I’m not the only one who feels this way," Ye Yuning remarked.
Where could she have seen it?
And this sense of familiarity was very strong.
Hearing Lei An say the sa thing, Ye Yuning beca even more convinced that she had indeed seen it before.
Lei An scrutinized the draft. Familiar fragnts flickered in her mind, but she couldn’t quite grasp them.
The feeling of familiarity grew stronger and stronger!
Lei An looked at Ye Yuning. "I’m positive I’ve seen this draft before. That woman definitely didn’t create it herself!"
Hearing this, Ye Yuning’s brow twitched. "Are you saying... she might have plagiarized?"
"Not might. Definitely!"

She thought so too.
Since they were both certain they had seen this draft before, it ant Ye Tong had used plagiarism to secure the Nanjia Peak collaboration with Xiao Corporation.
They looked at each other, the earlier gravity in their eyes replaced by a knowing smile.
Before Ye Yuning could speak, Lei An said, "You’d better not get involved in this."
Ye Yuning raised an eyebrow but said nothing.
"Xiao Corporation has been so ungrateful and unjust," Lei An continued. "Who would have thought karma would strike so quickly."
They had been wondering how Xiao Corporation could have possibly approved Ye Tong’s draft, and where Ye Tong even got such abilities.
Now it was obvious—it was plagiarism!
As for whose work she plagiarized, once Xiao Corporation released the renderings and started promoting them, the original creator would naturally step forward.
Ye Yuning nodded. "Indeed, what goes around cos around."
Actually, if Xiao Corporation hadn’t completely burned their bridges, and if Lai Shuo hadn’t poached her designers, she might have shown so rcy.
But considering their despicable actions, she couldn’t be bothered to care anymore!
She would just wait and see what kind of laughingstock Ye Tong would lead Xiao Corporation into becoming.

In the car, Ye Yuning kept her gaze fixed out the window, her body tense.
She completely lacked the composed, commanding presence she usually exuded at work.
Xiao Linye, on the other hand, acted as if nothing was amiss.
He handed her the yogurt he had brought, breaking the silence. "Why didn’t you call at lunchti?"
Ye Yuning stiffly took it, twisted open the cap, and took a sip.
The tart flavor was wonderfully satisfying to her, as she’d been hungry all afternoon.
The cool yogurt also helped to alleviate the lingering awkwardness she felt.
"The boss treated everyone to lunch, so we all ordered takeout together."
She had been in a whirlwind all morning and was initially quite upset. But after confirming with Lei An that the draft was plagiarized, she beca so happy that she impulsively treated the entire studio to lunch.
Xiao Linye raised an eyebrow. "Does your boss often treat you to als?"
"Mhm," Ye Yuning nodded.
Actually, she treated her employees to als quite a few tis a year, always celebrating after a project was completed.
Xiao Linye was beginning to understand why this girl didn’t want to leave her current studio.
Even though that Boss Ye was a piece of work, the atmosphere within the studio itself was good.
