Ye Yuning took a deep breath. Looking at Xiao Linye again, her eyes held neither their past warmth nor much sharpness. She simply said indifferently, "If you’ve co today to discuss my reputation, you needn’t bother. If I don’t care, why should you?"
Xiao Linye was silent, his thin lips pressed tightly together. His gaze, fixed on her, grew even colder.
Ye Yuning continued, "Of course, I’ve already made clear whatever you wanted to know. As for the twenty billion you gave today, if you think you can use this situation to take it back, that’s impossible—unless you can bring my brother back to life."

She didn’t answer his question directly, but her use of ’Xiao Seventh Master’ made her stance perfectly clear.
Xiao Linye clenched his fists, his gaze on Ye Yuning growing even more nacing.

Ye Yuning sat down. "When Ling Yan and Sister Xingli first helped get back that sum of over ten billion, I was a bit embarrassed to take it."
"And you’re not embarrassed now?"
"Not at all! They’re so shaless. What I took is nothing compared to their behavior." Considering how Xiao Linye had mistreated her recently, this money could at least soothe her feelings sowhat.
Tang Xi laughed.
Ye Yuning then asked, "I only just received the money. How did you find out?" If Tang Xi knew, didn’t that an the Xiao Family and the Qin Family also knew? To put it more bluntly, the Qi Family probably knew too!
