Qin Jinchuan asked around more than a dozen cars and finally found so food.
Heaven knows, I’ve never done such an embarrassing thing in my life. At this mont, looking at the bread in his hand, he felt deeply humiliated.
"Damn woman, just this once, huh!"
Qin Jinchuan, frustrated and angry, yanked open the passenger door, ready to throw the bread inside.
However, at that mont, the passenger seat was empty of Ye Yuning; instead, Kang Xuan was sitting there.
Qin Jinchuan’s face darkened fiercely. He already knew what had happened.
Seeing the bread Qin Jinchuan was about to offer, Kang Xuan got out of the car, his expression solemn. "Young Master Qin, our lord asked to wait here for you."
Qin Jinchuan coldly lifted his eyes and said nothing.
The next mont, Kang Xuan said, "Our lord said, ’Watch your back!’"
After speaking, Kang Xuan turned around and left.
Qin Jinchuan clenched the bag of bread in his hand, his fingers tightening, the bread deforming in his grip.
...
Ye Yuning was brought back to Turanxi around six in the morning.
Xiao Linye naturally didn’t take her to the place Qin Jinchuan had arranged for her before, but went directly to a hotel instead.
The entire way, Xiao Linye held her in his arms, giving her no chance to escape.
Throughout the process of entering the hotel, he gripped her hand tightly.
Ye Yuning didn’t struggle at all. She already knew she couldn’t escape, and she no longer wanted to.
As soon as they entered the room, Xiao Linye pressed her against the cold wall. His kisses descended overwhelmingly, almost devouring her.
Ye Yuning’s heart clenched fiercely.
For a long, long ti!
Not until Xiao Linye’s phone rang did Ye Yuning regain her freedom.
Xiao Linye fiercely pinched her cheek. "I’ll settle the score with you later."
Then he pulled out his phone, glanced at it, and turned to answer. "Yes, speak!"
"Boss, Miss Qi has attempted suicide and is in the hospital. You might need to co back right away."
The voice on the phone was loud!
Ye Yuning heard it; she felt utterly cold.
Xiao Linye glanced back at her, his expression thoroughly cold. Ye Yuning also looked at him, her lips tightly pressed.
With just one look, Xiao Linye withdrew his gaze and then walked out of the room, phone in hand.
Before closing the door, Xiao Linye looked back at her. "Don’t think about running. Our business isn’t over yet."
As his words faded, the door slamd shut with a BANG.
Ye Yuning stood frozen, feeling as if her blood were flowing backward.
Not over? Indeed, it wasn’t over! Now his future wife, Qi Mulan, had probably attempted suicide, driven to it by the child in my womb, right?
Overnight, Ye Yuning’s world completely shattered.
She stood there for a very long ti until waves of pain from her lower abdon finally snapped her back to reality.
She stumbled to the sofa and sat down, hoping for so relief.
However, instead of subsiding, the pain in her abdon intensified.
Xiao Linye had left!
He didn’t return. Ye Yuning clutched her stomach, enduring for about half an hour, but the pain remained severe.
A grim premonition spread through her mind.
She switched on her phone, but a ssage imdiately indicated the battery was exhausted; it would automatically shut down in ten seconds.
With no other choice, Ye Yuning struggled to her feet and moved to the landline.
She picked up the receiver and dialed the ergency number, but there was no response.
Her breathing quickened. She then dialed Chen Wei’s number, with the sa result.
After dialing five tis, she finally concluded, The phone must be broken.
Suddenly, she felt a warm gush from below. Her heart leaped into her throat.
No longer caring about anything else, she stood up and walked directly to the door.
She turned the doorknob and opened the door, only to find two bodyguards standing outside.
Ye Yuning was startled!
She was about to go straight out, but the two bodyguards stood like door guardians, blocking her path.
"I... I need to see Xiao Linye," Ye Yuning said, her voice trembling. "Let Xiao Linye co and see ."
Door guardians are just that—guardians; they don’t speak.
Neither of them uttered a word.
"My child might be in trouble," she urged. "Call Xiao Linye quickly!"
However, still, no one responded to her.
The two stood there like lifeless puppets, utterly still.
Ye Yuning completely panicked.
She tried to push past them. But at this mont, where would she find the strength?
No matter how hard she tried, they remained completely immobile.
"Get out of my way!" Ye Yuning roared.
Yet no matter how she struggled and scread in anger, they showed no reaction.
After ten minutes, Ye Yuning finally ran out of strength.
With a final BANG, she slamd the door shut, returned to the room, and picked up her mobile phone, desperately looking for a charger.
Unfortunately, there was none. Nothing at all. Her phone was dead, the landline didn’t work, and the bodyguards completely ignored her!
Ye Yuning, trembling all over, went into the bathroom to check.
Her pants were soaked in blood...
Her heart plunged into utter panic!
Once again, she forced her aching body to the door and threw it open. "Let out! Let out!" she scread, frantically beating on the bodyguards.
She knew very well that if she didn’t get to a hospital imdiately, she would lose the child.
But no matter how hysterically she pleaded and struggled, the bodyguards remained silent and motionless, like wooden posts.
It was only then that Ye Yuning realized the bodyguards were from Turanxi; they probably couldn’t understand a word she was saying. What could she do? What on earth could she do?
"My phone!" Ye Yuning cried, thrusting her own device at them to show the dead battery. "It’s dead! I need a phone!"
Yet, there was still no reaction.
Ye Yuning felt an unprecedented despair. "Damn you all, get out of my way!"
