It seed that no matter the man, once married, he’d protect his own wife. He just hadn’t expected such a thing could happen to Xiao Linye as well.

"You certainly do!" Xiao Linye snorted coldly, not forgiving him so easily.
Qin Jinchuan was speechless. Is this guy really that angry? Besides, how long has Xiao Linye even been married to that woman? And he’s already putting on such a lovey-dovey act? Does he believe it himself? Well, I, Qin Jinchuan, certainly don’t!
A secretary brought coffee in for them.
Qin Jinchuan eyed the secretary in Xiao Linye’s office. TSK TSK. "Quite the stunner. Does your wife know you have these beauties around you?"
Xiao Linye shot him a look.
That look made it clear to Qin Jinchuan: Xiao Linye was genuinely displeased.
"Alright, alright, I’ll shut up," Qin Jinchuan conceded.
Such a fiery figure, what man could resist? And that young secretary just now, she was clearly showing off so of her ’assets.’ Her figure was truly excellent!
Xiao Linye picked up his coffee and took a sip. "Did you really wait all night last night?"
"Until three-thirty!"
"It’s unlikely she deliberately spread false information. You know how cunning that woman, Ye Yuning, is. She was most likely misled herself."
Clearly, Xiao Linye found it hard to believe that Ye Yuning would intentionally feed Qin Jinchuan false news. That girl wouldn’t do such a thing!
Hearing this, Qin Jinchuan saw it clearly. Xiao Linye is completely biased. Now that he has a wife, his loyalty has completely shifted.
"Hmph! If I catch that damned woman, I’ll fucking destroy her!" Qin Jinchuan seethed, gritting his teeth.
Seeing his ferocity, Xiao Linye cautioned gravely, "If hundreds of millions have gone down the drain, so be it. It’s best to cut your losses now!"

Ye Yuning asked, "Regret what?"
"Leaving . You’ve had nothing but bad luck ever since!"
Ye Yuning was speechless. Seriously? This guy... what a piece of work! Still, speaking of bad luck, she had to admit she’d been quite unlucky before. But now... well! Seeing Xiao Shuo’s smug deanor, she figured that news of her complete escape probably hadn’t reached Xiao Qiyue yet. If it had, Xiao Shuo wouldn’t be here, so eager to trample all over her.
"So, you’re just here to gloat at my misfortune, is that it?" Ye Yuning scoffed nonchalantly.
Xiao Shuo pressed, "Well? Do you regret it now?"
"? Regret?"
"You don’t? Ye Yuning, you’re the type who won’t give up until you’re faced with absolute disaster."
"You say that as if I wasn’t unlucky when I was with you," Ye Yuning retorted sarcastically.
Regret? Seriously? Back then, when she couldn’t figure out how to get rid of him, she’d almost fallen into depression. Regret leaving him? As if! After finally dumping him, she felt nothing but pure, unadulterated joy!
Xiao Shuo continued, "If you were with , at least my Uncle Qi would give so consideration and not treat you so harshly. And Qin Dashao, out of respect for my Uncle Qi, wouldn’t target my fiancée."
Ye Yuning shot back, "Oh, your ’face’ is so influential, is it? Tell , did you have a good ti at the Xiao Corporation recently?"
Him and his ’face’ that Xiao Qiyue supposedly respects! Just how much ’face’ did he think he had?
It would have been fine if his ti at the Xiao Corporation hadn’t been ntioned. The mont Ye Yuning brought it up, Xiao Shuo’s expression instantly darkened.
"Hmph! Keep acting tough. I’ll just wait and see how long your Manlang Studio can survive!" Xiao Shuo snarled, his voice tight with anger, teeth clenched.
Now that his Uncle Qi and Qin Dashao were both targeting her, it served this woman right. Her mouth was just too damn disagreeable.
Ye Yuning retorted coolly, "Don’t worry. Even if my studio collapses, I will never regret breaking off our engagent."
Xiao Shuo was rendered speechless again.
"Besides," Ye Yuning continued, "what ’breaking off the engagent’? You were the one who got involved with Ye Tong! What right do you possibly have to repeatedly co here and harass ?"
The audacity of this Xiao Shuo was simply off the charts! Unbelievable! What were the actual circumstances back then? Forget about her, Ye Yuning; any sane woman would have been desperate to get rid of him!
