Ji Nan asked tentatively, "Shall we... head back then?"

He had a feeling Miss Ye was truly done for this ti! A re adopted daughter of the Ye Family, daring to toy with *him* like this? She really had a death wish! Ji Nan no longer knew what to make of her! It just felt like she was so incredibly reckless, completely out of her depth...
「That night」
Ye Yuning and Xiao Linye both slept exceptionally well. Although Xiao Linye was woken up at one point, he quickly fell back asleep holding Ye Yuning.

The Aunty chuckled. "The taste of honey varies with the blooming season of the flowers. I bought this from a beekeeper in the mountains."

When she was little and lived in the countryside with Zheng Cai’s mother, she was very familiar with the scent of black locust flowers.
But back then, her mind was entirely consud by her studies, so she had overlooked many things around her. She had seen beekeepers before! But she never knew that honey could actually have so many different flavors.

With the water sweetened by the black locust honey, Ye Yuning’s mouth indeed felt less bitter, and she wasn’t as resistant to drinking her Chinese dicine.
After downing the bowl of dicine, Ye Yuning, for so reason, felt a pang of guilt.
