She took a breath and said, "How about tomorrow? I’m a bit busy around noon today."

Ye Yuning’s voice sounded dejected over the phone. "Xixi."

"No," Ye Yuning replied.
"Then what’s the matter?"

"No, not that," Ye Yuning denied.
"Then what’s bothering you?"
"Isn’t he bound to find out sooner or later?" Ye Yuning said, her voice troubled. "I think it’s better to confess. If this goes on, I’ll always be on edge, worrying about losing him. I keep thinking it’s better to confess; otherwise, it always feels like there’s sothing between us."
Hearing her talk about confessing, Tang Xi imdiately interjected, "You mustn’t be foolish! Not every man can withstand such a test. With your past reputation, no amount of true affection could survive it!"
Ye Yuning was taken aback. Hearing Tang Xi speak so urgently, Ye Yuning’s heart couldn’t help but skip a beat.

Having Tang Xi say that, Ye Yuning didn’t dare to casually consider confessing anymore. But deep down, I’m really so frustrated.
