Zheng Cai stord back to the Ye residence. Ye Shilong was already ho, and Ye Tong had also been discharged from the hospital. Seeing her return, Ye Tong imdiately rushed over and warmly took her arm. "Mom, you’re back."

"She set us up on purpose!" Zheng Cai declared angrily.
Ye Yuning had agreed so readily, only to cause such a massive scene at the wedding. The thought made the resentnt in Zheng Cai’s chest flare, and even her breathing beca labored.
Ye Shilong’s expression turned utterly black.
Hearing that Ye Yuning truly hadn’t agreed to help, Ye Tong also panicked. Her voice choked with unshed tears as she asked, "What are we going to do now?" She didn’t want to go to the Qin Family!
Recalling Mrs. Qin’s threatening words, Zheng Cai was at her wit’s end. She had no ideas left, and seeing Ye Shilong’s silence only made her more anxious. "Say sothing! How are we going to handle this?"

Zheng Cai flew into a rage at his words. "Are you blaming now? Is this all my fault?"
"If it’s not your fault, whose is it then!" Ye Shilong roared, equally furious.
All those projects he had poured money into... and now the Qin Family was pulling out. He was facing a catastrophic loss. He was seething with an anger that had nowhere to go.
Zheng Cai’s temper flared even hotter. "Bla ? You were perfectly happy when you were raking in the projects and the money! Now that everything’s gone south, you’re pinning all the bla on ?"
"You wretched woman!"

After bottling up her anger for two days, Zheng Cai finally exploded, ranting incoherently.
Ye Shilong couldn’t stand it anymore. He stord out, slamming the door behind him. This only provoked Zheng Cai into an even greater fit of rage, which terrified Ye Tong.

After her long tirade, Tang Xi finally felt a bit calr. Looking at Ye Yuning, who had patiently endured it all, Tang Xi asked, her voice still tight with suppressed anger, "Do you even know what this guy does for a living?"
"I don’t know," Ye Yuning admitted, shaking her head.
Tang Xi’s breath hitched. After all this, she doesn’t even know what he does?
Ye Yuning thought for a mont. "But his salary shouldn’t be low."
"Shouldn’t be?" Tang Xi wanted to smack her.
Ye Yuning added, "He’s been in Upper City for five years and bought a two-hundred-square-ter apartnt in Shanyu Pavilion, plus he has a car."
Shanyu Pavilion? Tang Xi knew of it. A luxury apartnt in a pri location... that doesn’t sound too bad, actually.
"What kind of car?" Honestly, she was fussing over Yuning like a mother hen! But the thought of her friend rushing into marriage like this made Tang Xi worry that Yuning was completely muddled.
Ye Yuning replied, "A Passat."
Tang Xi frowned. "That’s still a far cry from your usual standards!"
Ye Yuning said, "He ntioned that if I don’t want to do housework, we can hire a housekeeper."
Tang Xi pursed her lips. "Of course, he’s going to be nice to you at the beginning. That’s how ’phoenix n’ operate. They only show their true colors later." Regardless, she was extrely worried.
She desperately wished Ye Yuning would get a divorce right now. They’d only been married a short while; things wouldn’t be too complicated. Unlike her own situation, where a divorce would be incredibly costly.

He frad it as a matter of convenience, but an unconscious smile touched Ye Yuning’s lips.
Seeing this, Tang Xi felt an overwhelming urge to throttle her!
"Oh, co on! It’s only been a few days. Are you already head over heels in love?" Tang Xi snapped, her tone sharp.
Ye Yuning didn’t want to argue and quickly changed the subject. "Alright, so what are your plans regarding... him?"
The re ntion of that bastard made Tang Xi’s insides churn with frustration.
"I’m suing him! A direct divorce!" Right now, all Tang Xi wanted was a divorce, no matter the cost.
Ye Yuning nodded. "A divorce would be for the best." She was well aware of Tang Xi’s situation with that family; the marriage had been nothing but a huge burden. And if sothing was a burden, it needed to be eliminated.
Tang Xi then asked, "And what about you...?"
"He doesn’t know my actual circumstances at the mont, and I don’t intend to tell him yet. We’ll see how things go first."
"You haven’t told him? What do you an by that?" Tang Xi was completely baffled.
Ye Yuning explained, "I told him I don’t own a house or a car, and that I’m just an odd-job worker earning eight thousand a month."
