Ye Yuning walked by herself to Xiao Corporation for about two minutes.
Before entering, she scrutinized her reflection in the large street-side windows to make sure she was wrapped up enough.
Confident that no one would easily recognize her, she finally stepped into Xiao Corporation.
Her work badge had been given to her by Xiao Linye in the car earlier.
The mont she showed her work badge at the reception, the receptionist’s attitude turned very respectful.

Ye Yuning... the sa na as the owner of Manlang? the receptionist thought.

"It’s elevator number three, on your right-hand side."

Ye Yuning nodded and walked away.
That was terrifying. If I’d acted like I knew my way around on my first day, it definitely would have seed strange. If I had really acted like that, I would have just been inviting suspicion.

The two receptionists behind her started gossiping. "To share the sa na as the owner of Manlang, and to catch our boss’s eye like that, even receiving special attention at work!"

"Don’t be silly. Just because she got a job doesn’t an she could beco his wife. Haven’t you seen her height? How short she is!"
Speaking of Ye Yuning’s height, the receptionist who was talking couldn’t help but TSK-TSK.
Ye Yuning’s mouth twitched. She’s short? I *was* short, but wasn’t their description a bit too exaggerated? They made it sound as if I had dwarfism or sothing. And what was this ’wife’ nonsense? Whose wife? And what about this special care from the Seventh Master? When had I ever received special care from that Seventh Master? Could it be that Xiao Linye, to get this job, had gone and bothered that pervert?
At that thought, Ye Yuning’s mood instantly soured!
I was the one who least wanted any involvent with that so-called Seventh Master, yet what on earth was all this now?
Just as the two were about to continue their discussion, Ye Yuning strode over boldly.
Then she snatched up her thermos cup!
The receptionists were instantly taken aback!

But after a mont’s thought, she said nothing and simply turned to leave.
The receptionists, however, were horrified. "Did she... did she hear everything we said?"
"We didn’t really say anything, did we?" the other one also said uneasily.
Ye Yuning was fuming!
This ’Seventh Master’... had he really beco so kind of curse in my world? Now even people at Xiao Corporation thought I had so connection to that darned Seventh Master?
The elevator doors opened, and she stepped in, huffing with anger.
Chen Wei had co to Xiao Corporation from the basent garage to terminate a contract. She was startled to see Ye Yuning—who hadn’t gone to the studio today—appearing here in such a bizarre getup.
She exclaid out loud, "Boss? What are you doing at Xiao Corporation? You... what is this...!"
The key thing was her appearance; she was so bundled up even her own mother wouldn’t recognize her. Could it be that because of the contract termination, she held a grudge against the Seventh Master and was here for revenge!? But in broad daylight, surely she didn’t think she could fool everyone like this?
Chen Wei grew anxious.
Ye Yuning was shocked to see Chen Wei, especially since Chen Wei had recognized her at first glance.
