Kang Xuan, unwilling to engage with the overly suspicious Lai Shuo, turned and walked away.
"Hey, wait! Are you sure that was the Madam?" Lai Shuo called out, reaching for Kang Xuan again.
Kang Xuan spun around, and his icy glare made Lai Shuo quickly retract his hand. He felt that if he’d been any slower, Kang Xuan might have chopped his hand off.
Not only was Kang Xuan’s gaze cold, but his tone was equally frigid. "Are you questioning Seventh Master’s integrity?"
