Could a re door not stop him anymore?
Ye Yuning looked at him resentfully. This man, she finally understood, truly exuded an undeniable dominance beneath his gentle deanor. He wasn’t just a little bit domineering.
"I-I’ll go take a shower first!"
She always used to shower first whenever she ca back, but today had been exceptionally busy. With that, she quickly closed her laptop, grabbed her pajamas, and dutifully went to the bathroom to shower.
But this shower ended up lasting half an hour.
Xiao Linye stood at the door. "Do I need to co in and drag you out?"
"No need, I’m almost done."
Ye Yuning sniffled. Does he have to be in such a rush? And isn’t he mistaken? We may have slept together, but that was an accident. Can he really order around like this?

Xiao Linye said, "Dry your hair first!"

She was doing it deliberately; her goal now was to stall for every possible minute.
Xiao Linye dried her hair for her. Ye Yuning’s heart felt like the hairdryer itself, buzzing chaotically. Before long, Xiao Linye had finished drying her hair.
Then he said, "Go lie on the bed!"
"I really can do it myself," Ye Yuning said, looking at Xiao Linye with a pleading expression.
Xiao Linye simply said, "Go!"
Ye Yuning was speechless. This man... he’s really too much! However, faced with his insistence, Ye Yuning finally relented.
Xiao Linye was a true gentleman! Through this, Ye Yuning beca thoroughly convinced of his integrity. Ye Yuning got up and put on her pants.

At that mont, she didn’t dare look at Xiao Linye, only discerning his departure from the sound of his footsteps. The mont the door closed, she finally let out a sigh of relief. That was terrifying. If he had really tried to do sothing to her, she wouldn’t have been able to resist, and he would have been within his rights. Although she wasn’t averse to being intimate with him, this was too soon. An accidental encounter and a conscious one are entirely different things.

Ye Yuning worked straight through until morning. Only when she heard stirring outside did she email the manuscript to Chen Wei, then closed her laptop and started packing. When she ca out of her room, Xiao Linye was making breakfast. He saw her and turned around. With just one glance, his brows furrowed. "Didn’t sleep well?"
Ye Yuning was silent. Does this man have fiery, discerning eyes? She had specifically worried he would notice, so she’d even put on light makeup, but he’d still seen through it. How could she dare admit she’d pulled an all-nighter just so she could go to Nanjia Peak with him?
"Mm-hmm, I didn’t sleep well."
"Then sleep on the plane later. Let’s eat first."
"Okay."
The breakfast he made slled truly delicious. But after last ti, Ye Yuning had also learned a little about cooking. Her small scale wasn’t on the kitchen counter; she had no idea where Xiao Linye had put it. However, she didn’t dwell on it. She drank a glass of milk and ate a sunny-side-up egg. It was 8:30 AM by the ti they left after breakfast. Just as they got into the car, Ye Yuning’s phone rang. It was Chen Wei. Ye Yuning quickly hung up.
Xiao Linye looked at her and asked, "Why didn’t you answer?"
Ye Yuning shook her head, feeling a little guilty. "It’s just a spam call. Nothing important, no need to pick up."
Her excuse was so la, even she found it hard to believe. And Chen Wei, honestly! Why was she calling so early in the workday? Could she not handle things already?
Soon, two photos arrived via WeChat: one of a bouquet of roses, and the other of a card. The card read: "Wishing you happiness!"
It was obvious who had sent them; Chen Wei didn’t need to explain. Ye Yuning instinctively glanced at Xiao Linye, who was driving. Her head throbbed with an intensity she’d never felt before.
