"So why did you co looking for today?" Nora Northwood couldn’t understand her.

"I ca today just to tell you that even with the protection of the master, I will surpass you. By then, the master will see that you absolutely do not deserve to be compared with !"

Yuna Hughes stood up, spoke coldly, and then left.

Perhaps in her eyes, what truly enraged her was the master’s favoritism towards Nora.

She used to be the master’s most cherished disciple, but since Nora’s appearance, every ti the master ntions her, it is with a sigh, with a tone of regret.

Nora just felt that she had so issues, shook her head helplessly, and decided not to concern herself with the matter anymore.

Three days later, the master released the new work as promised, thus starting the confrontation between the master and Rapport.

For a while, public opinion reached its peak. The master only stated that the truth would speak for itself, then released the special order obtained before Rapport’s publication.

Because the new product used new technology, she had paid extra attention to it. Not even Yuna, let alone Vincent Morgan, was aware of this matter.

With concrete evidence, Rapport found themselves caught in a scandal of slander, implicating Yuna in the attack.

Yet, she was not fazed at all, even starting a live broadcast at the height of the frenzy.

During the live stream, she expressed her nurous dissatisfaction with the master, mostly regarding the master’s bias towards Nora.

"It seems this girl really hates you." Lily Sloan could understand the feeling but didn’t grasp why one would betray their own teacher.

Nora furrowed her brow, watching half the broadcast. After that, she understood: "She’s taking the contrarian route."

If the work spoke for itself, people might think that as a disciple of the master, the designs weren’t anything exceptional.

But if reversed, it was different.

You have to admit the master was right; Yuna is indeed capable.

As the two were chatting, suddenly Nora’s phone rang. Seeing it was Mr. Sinclair calling, she hesitated for a mont but picked it up.

Blushing, she could still rember last ti’s embarrassing incident.

"The Sinclair Hotel, 302."

A seemingly out-of-context statent left her stunned. What did Mr. Sinclair an by that? Was he asking her to go over?

After saying it, he hung up. She bit her lip and decided to try her luck.

"Lily, I’m heading out."

In her sudden hurry, she hadn’t clearly heard the hoarse voice of the man on the phone.

Arriving at the hotel, she went straight to the room number Mr. Sinclair had ntioned.

She knocked on the door: "Mr. Sinclair?"

She asked softly, hearing footsteps growing nearer, and the next second, the door opened.

Seeing the man before her, she didn’t have ti to speak before being pulled inside.

Jasper Sinclair still carried the fresh scent of a recent shower, though his body was cold, it soon turned feverish.

"Hot." He wrapped her in his arms, leaning down to whisper in her ear.

The heated, damp breath tinged with liquor made Nora feel as if she was slightly intoxicated.

"Mr. Sinclair, I... mmph!" She tried to ask what was wrong, but as soon as she opened her mouth, he kissed her.

The cold tongue mingled with the scent of alcohol and a hint of mint, ravaging her mouth.

This wasn’t their first kiss, or more accurately, last ti barely counted as a kiss — rely lips touching lips.

But this ti was different; she was kissed breathless, her body nearly collapsing, if not for him holding her.

"Don’t..." She tried to escape the man’s kiss, but just as she uttered a word, it was swallowed back down.

Gradually, she unconsciously started to sink into it.
