In the end, Damien still didn’t chase after Jasper Sinclair.

The small rundown house returned to silence. She, with a trace of fatigue, waved her hand, dismissing the ard bodyguards in the room.

Only the teenage boy stayed by her side, his youthful voice asking her, "Sister, don’t you want to stay in Paris anymore?"

Actually, the real question the boy wanted to ask was whether his sister was going to abandon him too...

Damien was pondering her conversation with Jasper, not noticing the boy’s change in emotions.

She nodded perfunctorily, and a hint of disappointnt appeared in the boy’s eyes.

After reviewing, Damien was certain Jasper Sinclair would co looking for her again.

Both of them had what the other wanted, whether it was freedom or the antidote.

If Jasper Sinclair gave up on this trade, it would only an the poisoned person wasn’t important to him.

As the developer of His9, Damien knew well that this poison wouldn’t take a life quickly, but would slowly tornt a person to death over the coming decades.

Thinking of this, she gradually relaxed.

Next, all she needed to do was stay peacefully in the slums, waiting for the Celestian man’s second visit.

anwhile, Jasper Sinclair was already on his way back to the hotel.

Before eting Damien, he had envisioned countless possibilities.

He thought the worst outco would be mutual destruction, he’d rather risk half his life to exchange for Nora Northwood’s health.

Yet, Damien had put forth an almost outrageous demand.

Jasper’s thoughts were so imrsed in gloom that he forgot another purpose of his trip.

Tina, who was under the sa roof as the rats: Has the boss abandoned as a pawn?

She had no idea Jasper Sinclair had already forgotten about her existence.

It was the next day when Jasper received another call from Damien.

"Your subordinate is still in my hands. If you don’t want her, I’ll slice her at off to feed the rats... Do you know the rats in the slums grow up eating human flesh and can be bigger than your feet..."

As these words were spoken, Jasper Sinclair couldn’t associate them with the person in a white dress.

The man felt a bit of a headache, and his hand in his pocket clenched involuntarily, "Let her go."

"Have you agreed to my request?"

"Let her go first. You should know she’s not important to ."

"All right, since she’s not important, I’ll keep her to feed the rats."

The next second, Damien hung up the call.

The atmosphere around Jasper Sinclair shifted, as if shrouded in a certain desolation.

He looked at the string of numbers in the call log and hit redial.

"Sorry, the number you dialed is no longer in service..." an emotionless chanical female voice ca from the receiver.

Damien’s communication device must have been modified sohow, preventing others from locating her through the network.

Nora Northwood appeared from behind, seeing his serious expression, she asked, "Did sothing happen? Is there trouble with Tina’s side?"

"I encountered so obstacles, I might have to go out for a bit."

"Let go with you. I don’t want to stay in the hotel alone, it makes feel insecure."

Jasper Sinclair rembered Damien’s request and feared it mustn’t reach Nora’s ears.
