"Clearly, I am the closest person to you, yet you don’t tell anything. Even Rachel Woodward can sit down and talk with you. Who is Rachel? Soone from your family who wants to get into your bed. Jasper Sinclair, do you think this is reasonable?"

Upon hearing the last part, Jasper Sinclair’s brows furrowed into a line, thinking, how did it get so out of hand?

He was amazed by Nora Northwood’s train of thought, but simultaneously felt anxious inside.

"Nora, your emotions are very intense right now. Let’s wait until you’ve cald down before we discuss this matter further."

Nora clenched her jaw tightly. If she didn’t, she might say sothing unpleasant.

She wanted to curse, but her good upbringing told her she couldn’t.

So, she returned to the original question and stubbornly asked, "What exactly were you discussing?"

Jasper Sinclair’s ambiguous attitude only made Nora’s frustration grow.

He still refused to tell the truth, "In the past, you’ve always given ti, so why be so aggressive this ti?"

"I’m being aggressive?"

Nora’s reaction was as if she had heard a grand joke.

Her bare face was filled with anger.

She breathed heavily, feeling the space was suffocating.

"I’ll ask you one last ti. Will you say it or not?"

Jasper’s Adam’s apple bobbed slightly, but his answer remained unchanged: "It’s not the right ti now."

They stood there stubbornly, neither willing to take a step back.

"Fine."

Nora stord out, slamming the door so loudly that everyone in the executive office heard it.

This ti, Jasper didn’t chase after her.

He contacted Louis Hayes, asking his assistant to ensure Nora got safely to Crimson Hill Villa.

Nora, naturally, would not accept it, but fortunately, Francis was with her.

Back in the car, Nora asked Francis to raise the partition.

The dark gray partition slowly moved up, dividing the car into two separate spaces, so no one would disturb each other.

The tears she held back along the way finally flowed, silent but with her shoulders trembling fiercely.

The taste of tears at the corner of her mouth was truly unpleasant.

Everyone in the villa knew the hostess and the host had quarreled.

All of a sudden, the servants at ho beca cautious, not daring to make a sound.

Uncle Kevin wanted to reconcile them but had no ideas.

And so, the cold war continued for several days.

As the end of January approached, Uncle Kevin reminded Jasper, "Madam’s check-up date is coming up; you can go to the hospital at any ti in the next couple of days."

"Understood."

After giving his advice, Uncle Kevin remained standing there, looking as if he wanted to say sothing but hesitated.

Seeing this, Jasper asked the elder, "Is there anything else?"

Uncle Kevin sighed, "Mr. Sinclair, if I may speak candidly, when you and Madam have a disagreent, it only ends up hurting the both of you. Between a married couple, argunts in bed should be resolved in bed. Madam’s health isn’t good, and she hasn’t been eating properly these past few days."

Upon hearing this, Jasper’s ten fingers at his sides suddenly twitched, feeling a tightness in his chest.

Has she really not been eating well lately?

Several tis, Jasper wanted to break the current situation, but issues at the company and the research institution left him no ti to spare.

"Uncle Kevin."

Hearing Jasper call his na, Uncle Kevin responded respectfully.
