Rachel Woodward’s tone was excessively certain.

As a result, Nora Northwood didn’t detect a hint of probing and was firmly convinced that the pregnancy rumor had spread from the Sinclair Family mbers.

As for whether it was Jasper Sinclair, Grandma Sinclair, or soone else, she had no way of knowing.

She didn’t pay attention, paused her steps for a mont, and then continued forward, but her expression had already turned gloomy.

She stepped into the elevator, which should have been going up, but went to the lower basent level instead.

Francis had already received the ssage and drove the car to the lower basent level.

He was confused, wondering why it was so quick this ti.

When he picked her up, Francis could clearly sense that the lady’s mood wasn’t good.

He asked, "Ma’am, where to next?"

"Anywhere."

Nora tossed out these two words, and her gaze turned to the window, as if she had lost interest in everything.

Francis, who was adept at understanding people, knew that since she hadn’t directly said to return to Crimson Hill Villa, she likely didn’t want to go back now.

But where should they go?

The black Bentley slowly drove out of the underground garage and headed to Crestwater Boulevard, where Stanton City’s most beautiful scenery lay.

The foot traffic here was less than one-sixth of the comrcial area.

Occasionally, a few luxury cars worth millions slowly moved along the roadside.

Perhaps their owners shared the sa troubles as Nora.

But Francis couldn’t understand what such a wealthy family could be troubled by.

The road ahead seed endless, with frost-covered trees lining the sides, creating a fairytale-like kingdom, exuding an untouched beauty.

In the quiet car, an abrupt phone ringtone sounded—Jasper Sinclair was calling.

Nora pretended not to hear it.

The ringtone stopped for a second and then rang again.

Annoyed by the noise, she picked up the call.

"Hello." Nora said flatly, her tone filled with indifference.

Even though she had uttered just a brief word, Jasper could sense sothing was off.

He asked, "You don’t sound too happy. Did sothing upset you today?"

Nora pressed her lips together, adjusted her breathing, and then said nonchalantly, "I ran into soone annoying while shopping."

"Next ti, let the mall know in advance so the manager can clear the area, so it doesn’t affect your mood."

Listening to a soft chuckle, clearer in the sealed space, "What if they lose money doing that?"

"A bit of money can’t buy your happiness."

Suddenly, the knot in Nora’s heart loosened a bit. Sure enough, pregnancy hormones could affect one’s mood...

The two agreed to et at ho, and she had Francis drive back to the Crimson Hill Villa.

Francis, being quite observant, noticeably increased the speed on the way back.

The railings and pine trees on both sides zipped by quickly as if they were traveling through a ti tunnel.

Nora suddenly asked, "Francis, has my temper been worse lately?"

Francis’s hand on the steering wheel suddenly paused.

How was one supposed to answer such a question?

To say no?

It would seem dismissive and sycophantic.

After thinking it over, he replied, "Pregnant won are more emotionally sensitive, and Mr. Sinclair is willing to pamper you. His appreciation grows when you occasionally throw a little tantrum."

This was a statent made from a man’s perspective.

Before Nora reached ho, she received a call from the manager of a mall under The Sinclair Group.
