This is the inpatient departnt, the most ordinary room. Nora Northwood thought that Jasper Sinclair would place the person in a VIP room, guarded by several senior technicians in shifts.

The fact proved that she had imagined this man’s nature as too kind-hearted.

She leaned against the cold wall, her thoughts gradually emptying out, her ears automatically blocking out all external sounds.

Inside the hospital room.

Peach Bell was curled up in the blanket, with bright red bloodstains clearly visible at the foot of the sheet.

"What’s going on?" Jasper Sinclair glared angrily at the dical staff.

Adding it all up, he’d been away for no more than three hours, and the hospital had ended up caring for the patient in such a manner.

Especially for a patient who had lost the ability to walk.

Before anyone could answer his question, Peach Bell peeked out a little head from the blanket. The young girl looked cautious and didn’t trust anyone here.

Only when she saw who had arrived, her dear Brother Jasper, did she lift the cover off herself.

"Brother Jasper."

As she moved, Jasper noticed that her hospital gown was also stained with blood.

He took a sharp breath, his gaze scanning the room, finally resting on the head nurse, and said, "You better explain clearly what happened after I left."

The person whose na was called out had no choice but to step forward and give a brief account of what had happened in the past three hours.

Originally, Peach Bell was in a coma.

During this ti, the hospital room was still serene until she opened her eyes.

The mont her mind beca clear, she went berserk, pulled out the IV needle from her body, and kept muttering so begging words.

In short, she was utterly deranged.

The dical staff repeatedly assured her that they were good people.

Peach Bell didn’t believe them, ignoring everything they said, and if anyone got close to her, she would use the pillow in her hand to stab them, eventually even hurting herself.

So, the bloodstains on the sheet and gown were not just hers, but also contributed by the dical staff.

Jasper Sinclair understood the gist of the situation, his inner anger slightly subsiding.

He approached Peach Bell, his voice becoming gentle and soothing, coaxing her, "Give what’s in your hand; it’s dangerous and can hurt you. Let hold it for you."

In the presence of Jasper Sinclair, Peach Bell seed like a different person, nothing like before.

...

Nora Northwood, standing by the door, grew a bit bored after waiting a long ti.

She moved a few steps closer, stopping at the gap of the room door, just enough to hear Jasper Sinclair gently coaxing Peach Bell.

Did he really have such a tender side?

Nora once thought she misheard. Through the palm-sized glass window, she glanced inside and saw only Jasper Sinclair, the only man, and clicked her tongue silently.

No one wants to see their husband coaxing another woman, and she was no exception.

Nora only lingered at the door for a few minutes before stepping back.

Standing for long made her legs and feet a bit numb.

She found a bench to sit down, next to an elderly lady with graying hair, who scooted over to make more room for her when she saw Nora sit.

"Thank you, I’ll just sit for a while."

As ti ticked away, Nora felt like she was about to fall asleep there.

To pass the ti, she took out her phone from her pocket and started watching short videos, thankfully bringing her Bluetooth earphones along.
