"What the hell are you doing?" Jasper Sinclair growled.

"Because of you, my sister broke half her leg, disappeared ti and ti again; you’re a damned plague on the Jacobs Family."

To the naked eye, Liam Jacobs’ eyes were bloodshot, clearly on the verge of collapse.

Jasper Sinclair was in a sowhat better shape, at least able to calmly analyze the current situation.

"The most urgent thing is to quickly find Peach Bell’s whereabouts. Running your mouth won’t change the fact that she’s missing, will it?"

Once Liam Jacobs cald down a bit, he speculated that Peach Bell might contact Nora Northwood.

As a result, Jasper Sinclair disturbed her during her work hours.

When Nora answered the phone, she thought he was inviting her to lunch.

Until, from his mouth, she heard Peach Bell’s na, "Has she contacted you today?"

Frozen for a few breaths, Nora pretended to calmly reply, "No."

The conversation ended here, both sides stayed silent for half a minute.

Nora brought up a phone call from the previous night, "You must have seen Manager Jordan’s call."

"Yes."

"If there’s nothing else, I’ll hang up now; I have a project eting later."

"Wait."

"Is there anything else?"

"Peach Bell is missing. If she contacts you, please let know."

Missing?

Last night’s call from Manager Jordan did not ntion the word "missing."

Nora gasped, a scene from months ago surfacing in her mind.

Could it be the traffickers at work?

She dared not think further and hastily agreed with a "Okay" before hanging up quickly.

anwhile, Jasper Sinclair arranged a large number of bodyguards around Nora to ensure her safety.

Since the traffickers could target Peach Bell, they could target others as well; he must ensure the safety of those around him.

VK.

Nora’s hand holding the pen tightened, the phone call had completely disrupted her thoughts.

She couldn’t absorb a single word from the docunt in front of her.

Why would Peach Bell go missing?

This question lingered in her mind, refusing to go away.

For a long ti, Nora temporarily put down what she was doing and got up from her office chair, standing by the floor-to-ceiling window.

Forty-three floors up, more than enough to overlook the entire city skyline.

Her gaze moved from the left to the far right, unable to understand the reason for Peach Bell’s disappearance.

Deep down, Nora knew Jasper Sinclair wouldn’t just stand by and do nothing about Peach Bell’s disappearance.

She called upon her connections, preparing to join the search for Peach Bell.

Upon leaving, she noticed extra bodyguards on the first floor of VK, imdiately realizing these were Jasper Sinclair’s people.

Sure enough, after inquiring, it was confird they were sent by Jasper.

The first thought in Nora’s mind was that this man was monitoring her.

The mont she decided to help find Peach Bell, her resolve shattered imdiately.

Nora barely restrained herself from questioning Jasper Sinclair over the phone.

She carried her small shell bag and returned to the forty-third floor.

What did Peach Bell’s whereabouts have to do with her anyway?

A girl who had eyes on her husband; even if she truly disappeared from this world, it would be heaven’s way of ridding her of evil.

Thinking this way, Nora felt sowhat relieved.

However, so people are kind by nature.
