"Boom——"

The sky darkened suddenly, and the thick clouds covered the villa area for miles around.

Jasper Sinclair stood in front of the floor-to-ceiling window, looking at the silent back garden.

He glanced in the direction of the stairs a few tis, impulsively walking towards the study.

In the month since moving back to Crimson Hill Villa, he rarely went to the study, only knowing that the woman liked to lock herself in there, refusing to co out all night.

As Jasper entered the study, a flash of lightning split the sky, illuminating the entire room for an instant.

Would Nora Northwood be afraid of thunder?

This thought lingered for about half a minute before Jasper realized what he was actually thinking.

He shook his head, trying to shake off those inappropriate thoughts.

"Click——"

As his palm relaxed on the doorknob, the door shut tightly.

The study had two work areas, one side decorated with dolls and potted plants.

A scene suddenly flickered in Jasper’s mind—did his past self, like Nora, enjoy spending ti in the study?

He walked inside and found a booklet resembling a "moir" in the drawer of the wall cabinet, filled with mories of him and Nora.

He flipped through it page by page.

When Nora arrived at the study door, this was the scene she saw.

The man leaned against the desk, brows furrowed as he looked at their past.

Nora swiftly walked in, trying to snatch the item from his hand, "Without my permission, please don’t touch my things."

Her tone was still quite polite.

To Nora, Jasper had already lost his mory and was no longer a part of her mories.

"If I’m not mistaken, the person in the photos is . I should have the right to them."

Jasper slightly raised his hand, lifting it above his head, and due to the height difference between them, Nora missed.

"But you don’t rember the past, it’s none of your business."

"Who’s to say, maybe while looking, I’ll rember sothing?"

"Even if you do, I don’t want you to rember."

"Why not?"

Nora exhaled angrily twice, too tired to argue with him. Seeing that most of the album had already been flipped through, she reckoned that he had seen almost everything.

Just like this, the two of them stared at each other.

Lightning flashed outside, and raindrops were slanted by the wind blowing inside, bringing a chill.

Nora used to think rationally, and once she decided to separate from Jasper, it was a true decision.

She disdained the thods of "playing hard to get," and as she was about to leave, she noticed the window was open.

Jasper’s hand just fell, and his palm imdiately beca empty.

He watched her walk towards the window and quickly realized what she intended to do.

"Nora!"

He shouted, but by the ti he reached the window, it was too late.

The album was thrown out in a parabolic arc, the photos scattering each to their own, finally landing in the soft soil without even making a sound.

Thousands of days and nights silently dispersed in this rainy night.

Jasper glared angrily at Nora, not understanding why this woman was so resolute, clearly they hadn’t parted yet, when he was already prepared to "regain his mory."

Compared to his anger, Nora seed indifferent, thinking to herself: the rain could still be heavier.

Her loose and indifferent attitude once again elevated the tension to a climax.
