T2 Terminal, VIP lounge.

Nora Northwood sat with her legs crossed on a light beige sofa, wearing a beige knee-length dress that blended into the sofa, giving the appearance, from a distance, that she was softly sunken there.

Less than fifteen minutes until boarding ti, she was ditating on the new series of products, pondering which scent to use as the base note.

Suddenly, a pair of distinct hands appeared in her line of sight, then waved.

Nora lifted her eyelids, and a familiar face appeared again. During their gaze, there was a hint of a smile in the other person’s eyes.

"Trying to avoid ." Jasper Sinclair spoke in a declarative tone.

Avoid?

Nora seriously contemplated the word "avoid", in all fairness, it did carry a bit of that aning.

So, she followed Jasper Sinclair’s words and replied, "If you can’t provoke, you’d better avoid."

She was skeptical about how her departure from Stanton City had reached Jasper Sinclair’s ears.

This matter certainly didn’t leak out of Francis’ mouth.

She had given Francis a week off, expecting him to return to Stanton City in a week.

She thought by then, whatever entanglent existed between her and Jasper Sinclair would nearly be resolved.

She asked, "Why are you at the airport?"

"To accompany you."

"Accompany , or take the opportunity to find Peach Bell, you should be clearer than I am."

Nora’s words hit the mark, leading to an awkward feeling.

However, she wasn’t entirely correct.

Jasper Sinclair explained himself in a few sentences. "I thought carefully, yesterday’s incident was indeed inconsiderate of , and I offended you; it won’t happen again."

"Again? Dream on!" Nora sneered.

Jasper Sinclair didn’t continue the conversation; the two of them sat quietly under the sa roof, the atmosphere unusually bizarre.

After boarding the plane, Nora was surprised to find their seats were still connected.

She regretted not buying a seat in economy class, which could have saved her so money.

Although this trip wasn’t long, Jasper Sinclair wouldn’t tolerate the discomforts of economy class.

Even business class was sowhat beneath him; otherwise, he wouldn’t exclusively buy out an entire flight crew team just for his private jet.

To avoid awkwardness, Nora maintained a state of pretend slumber with her eyes closed for the two hours on the plane.

Neighboring city.

Amidst a bustling crowd, even without intentionally seeking, Nora knew Jasper Sinclair was keeping a not-too-far yet not-too-close distance from her.

Jasper followed behind, looking at her back, always feeling she seed two shades lonelier than before.

He suddenly wanted to step up and stand beside her, at least, to make it seem like soone was accompanying her.

Jasper thought this and then acted upon it.

"Do you need to carry your bag?"

"To find out where Peach Bell is, you’re even willing to degrade yourself to a bag-carrying errand boy?" Nora retorted sarcastically.

It was unclear when, but when the two were alone, they could no longer communicate calmly.

Either Jasper was exasperated beyond repair, or Nora was full of sarcasm in her eyes.

They walked out from the airport, and eventually, Nora’s tote bag ended up on Jasper Sinclair’s shoulder.

She didn’t refuse; who wouldn’t want an extra helping hand? After all, there wasn’t anything particularly important in the bag.

Without a driver in the neighboring city, they could only hail a taxi by the roadside.
