Nora felt a sense of guilt for doing sothing wrong, but to bring them back to Stanton City, she had to resort to so tactics.

Sure enough, within less than twenty-four hours, she was confronted by a pair of n and won.

Peach Bell rembered the location of the manor; she had lived here for the past ten years.

She was even more familiar with the routes here than Nora—she could find her way from the living room to the backyard even with her eyes closed.

When Nora saw them, she wasn’t surprised, "Weren’t you packing to run away? Why did you end up at my house?"

Oddly enough, there was a sense of satisfaction in wrongdoing.

"You!"

Peach Bell said "you" for quite a while but couldn’t articulate anything else, ending up just staring in a standoff.

"Let guess why you found this place. You figured out you’d go back to the country with . I knew it; you’re a smart young girl."

"Nora, you’re despicable!"

Just after Peach Bell shouted, Jasper Sinclair arrived.

Nora’s body was facing away from the entrance to the backyard—she only heard footsteps, but she knew it was Jasper, so she didn’t spare him even a glance.

She adjusted the drape over her shoulder, her tone becoming harsh, "You know full well that Jasper has a happy family, yet you deliberately bad-mouth his wife and family in front of him, trying to make him give up everything he has. Compared to you, I’m not despicable at all!"

Jasper’s insightful gaze shifted from Peach Bell’s face to Nora’s trembling shoulders.

Then, following her last syllable, he said coldly, "I’ll go back to the country with you."

Nora was dumbfounded for a mont; she hadn’t expected Jasper to agree so quickly!

It took several seconds for her to regain her composure, realizing it wasn’t too early anymore—she had stayed in lbourne for almost a month.

Compared to her stunned reaction, Peach Bell’s response was more intense, her pupils contracting as she called out the man’s na.

Peach Bell’s features had twisted.

The young girl’s self-control was not as strong as Nora’s. At this mont, the anger in her chest couldn’t be suppressed, her sharp voice screaming, "Didn’t you promise you’d stay in lbourne with ? Why are you going back on your word?"

Jasper stepped forward calmly, surpassing anyone present.

He said, "Once I handle my things, I will co back with you."

Anyone with ears could understand he was coaxing the young girl.

"I don’t want that!"

"Once we’re back in the country, you’ll still stay by my side, don’t make a scene."

Lily watched their interaction, her brows furrowing deeply.

She looked at Nora, finding Nora unmoved.

Lily’s heart sank; she knew all too well what that expression ant.

"Nora..."

She tugged at Nora’s hem, but the words stuck in her throat.

Nora gently patted the back of Lily’s hand, signaling that "she’s okay," then told those in front of her, "Since you’ve decided to go back, let’s head to the airport now."

Peach Bell was anxious again, "Didn’t you say there are still few days left?"

"There’s no better ti than now. Otherwise, once you walk out that door, you might resort to so minor tricks again, and I can’t withstand that."

These words were directed at Peach Bell, but her cold eyes were fixed on Jasper.

Her implied ssage: once you’ve decided, don’t keep changing your answer.

Facing her gaze, the man’s handso features remained exceedingly calm.
